They must be taking a cue from the Arabs who declared war on Israel, lost, but now want the land they lost (West Bank, Golan Heights, etc) returned because it is being illegally occupied.

Japan: Trump must declare Hiroshima a war crime
The Japanese government and most Japanese have enough self-awareness not to make such outrageous demands - the article says "Japanese peace campaigners" and it was published in an overtly Communist newspaper. So this is about some Japanese left-wing loons making outrageous demands on Trump that he will ignore - just like here.

Japan should apologize for it's cannibalism of our POWs.
They should also count their blessings that we didn't drop more A bombs and exterminate them all.

Unit 731 was worse than the Nazis for sheer horror, Nanking, Kempeitai, comfort women of Korea enslaved, Bataan Death March, Hell Ships for POWs, use of POWs as slaves in mines. The Chichijima incident where Japs cannibalized POWs. The murder of the Wake island defenders.
All of those are war crimes.
Trump should remind them we still have Enola Gay laying around in a museum, in fantastic condition. We can dust her off anytime you feel froggy.

And apologize for “The Rape of Nanking “, Unit 781 (probably have that number wrong!) that did the medical experiments on captured American airmen & Chinese civilians, POW Camps that had a higher mortality rate then NAZI Concentration Camps, - I could go on!

Japan itself was one YUGE war crime before August 1945 and we (well, our government anyway) forgave them without an apology.

Slurp my butt, Tojo.
We’ll do that about the same time you admit that the Rape of Nanking was the worst war crime of the war.

Neither the Hiroshima nor Nagasaki nuclear bombing was a “crime”. Invading Japan would have cost hundreds of thousands of US casualties, and millions of Japanese casualties - far more than the bombings cost.
WW2 was total war, and civilian casualties were simply part of the equation. The Japanese were ruthless butchers for the most part, and if Japan could have landed atomic bombs on the US it would have done so without hesitation. Japan certainly slaughtered countless civilians with no compunction.
The nuclear bombing of Japan was a regrettable necessity - nothing more.

It’s not Japan demanding anything.
Bunch of street filth given publicity by a media which hate the U.S. as much as they.

Society for Requiring the Admission of Historic Responsibility of the US Government for Dropping Atomic Bombs on Japan
SFRTAOHROTUSGFDABOJ?!
Catchy acronym, and the URL might still be available.
I REALLY dislike headline writers conflating some special interest group with a whole nation. The headline says "Japan", the reality might well be a Japanese equivalent of Jim Rockford with a laser printer, Avery business card stock and a web page.
Frequently, when NOW makes a pronouncement, the headline writers substitute "women" as if the organization speaks for women as a whole. THAT is fake news.
