I have always thought it tacky to advertise competing forum on FR, which is why I don't advertise my (since 2001) forum on FR.

It's not about competition... it's about getting the word out there... :)

Well if that is true, then I should feel free to do the same. But some how I don't. This site is supported by members if the membership is drained away to other sites, then what happens to FR?
I think there are other ways of advertising new sites. I understand that the author meant no harm or disrespect to FR, but it is kinda tacky.

I checked it out, but there's some clown named HostileTakover that's starting threads and spamming other threads with Bush bashing posts. Hostile takover, indeed.

Why are you advertising a competing site to FR here? Do you have a personal interest in this site?

Will this turn into a 527 and run ads for Bush?

It appears that their servers are not yet up to the task.

Why are you advertising a competing site to FR here? Do you have a personal interest in this site? No, dvan does not have a personal interest in the site. He's just trying to help me out. I gave him permission to post this thread to FR after he asked me. I will take full responsibility for breaking any FR rules that may have been violated here, and if necessary pull this thread. I would never do anything to jeopardize the respect of FR members.
No, it is not FR, nothing can ever beat it. The site is another filter for the news.
