9/11 Professor Reportedly Trained Domestic Terrorists

Ward Churchill, the University of Colorado professor caught up in the controversy about his remarks calling the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center "little Eichmanns," reportedly trained domestic terrorists, Fox News reported tonight, citing a Denver newspaper.

The January 18, 1987 issue of the Denver Post reported that Professor Churchill taught the Weatherman, a violent, revolutionary radical group, how to make bombs and fire weapons.

This revelation comes on the heels of the comments by a former student of Churchill's who was in his class on April 19, 1995, the day of the Oklahoma City bombing, the biggest terrorist incident on U.S. soil until the September 11 attacks. The former student, Kimberly Hickel, said that Churchill "actually stood in front of our class and said how the FBI got what they deserved. It was awful."

These new developments come on the heels of the disclosure of an interview last April with Satya, a Brooklyn-based magazine that claims to promote vegetarianism, environmentalism and "social justice." In that interview, Churchill said that the United States should get "out of North America, off the planet. Out of existence altogether." and that "it may be that more 9/11s are necessary."

This guy is a complete loon. I'm can't even attribute this one to the loony left. He's too far out for that. Maybe a closet insurgent. My battle buddy here, a democrat lurking over my shoulder, agrees this guy is a complete a loon.

My buddy also feels the distinguished professor needs to put his Birkies in the sand next to our combat boots and meet some insurgents face to face here in Iraq. We'll see how much he likes their cause then, and how much they like him.

That's the thing about the lefties, they believe they have some kind of "solidarity" with the the Islamists who would cut them down without second thought.

See you there next month.

"This guy is a complete loon."

Yes, he seems quite mentally ill. It is scary to think that insane people are actual college professors.

He seems mentally ill to us. There are many on the left who are defending this dirtball, albeit qualified defenses ("I don't necessar agree with all his views, but.."). It is frightening that he was cheered by 1200 students recently. Maybe its communicable.
