Democratic leader Harry Reid has thown the Bush administration an olive branch in the war over filibusters for judicial nominees, but don't for one minute think that the discrimination against conservative judges is over.

I think the Dems want to bury the Filibuster plan because it won't serve them in the end (should they regain the Senate) However, I remember Schumer saying "We'll stop them in Committee".

Is anyone still naive enough to believe that the Democrats will do or say anything for a purpose other than to stall until they can put one of their own in the office of the President?
