I wonder where people like Chris Buckley are right about now? And where are all the "Pricipled Conservatives" who sat out the 2006 and 2008 elections?

Make no mistake, these tyrants and their allies are the enemy of a free people. BO is merely part of the team which seeks to oppress the average freedom-loving citizen. His team consists of the super-rich (eg Soros), the limo-libs in the Sodom called Hollywood, and american-hating old media, libs and progs. These are our enemies, all of them our enemies.

Samuel Adams, speech at the Philadelphia State House, August 1, 1776:
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

The electorate is far too sedated and satiated to understand the meaning of that quote.

"If ye love liberty more than socialism, the animating contest of freedom better than the tranquility of servitude, go home from us, whether in peace or not. ...etc"

Yes, but I think it died to thunderous applause when obama promised to “fundamentally change the United States of America.” He promised - he delivered.

What are we prepared to do?
And THEN what are we prepared to do?

Let’s be clear on this. The way the Republicans acted since they got control of the whole government, they did not deserve to be re-elected. Sure, they acted with principle when it had virtually no effect in the health care fiasco, but,by making themselves unworthy of re-election in 2006 and 2008, they are as much to blame as the Democrats and the voters for what happened yesterday.

Do you think we were supposed to permit the Republicans to continue to do their earmarking, expand entitlements, trash the first amendment, just because they were on the right side of the aisle?

OK, I voted Republican in the last two elections, only to vote against the Democrats, but I did so holding my nose, and I can understand the concerns of those for whom holding their noses could not keep out the stench.

If Dems promise socialism, the GOP promises better and cheaper socialism, and slower route to get there. so, yes they are different, but is it really a difference, that in the long run, actually makes a difference?

Thunderous applause? Yeah, the Democrats congratulating themselves on pushing this mess down the public’s throats.

Well, the Supreme Soviet used to clap for Stalin.

Well, the Supreme Soviet used to clap for Stalin.

And they had to ring a bell to tell them that it was ok to stop clapping.

A quicker fall from grace is easier to recover from than a slow plodding pace towards oblivion.

Half tempted to run in my local district as a “Democrat” who is commited to push through as much crap to hasten the fall so we can get started on re-building quickly.
