It takes a while for human beings to read and report on 2500 pages of twisted legislative language so details of the brand new health care reform law are being reported on in bits and pieces. Today, as President Obama and his accomplices were congratulating themselves on the signing of this monstrosity, news reports are informing us that to comply with the law, more than 200,000 fast food and other chain restaurants will have to include calorie counts on menus, menu boards and even drive-throughs.

I happen to catch all that part of the bill while listening to it being read online, a few nights ago... volunteers from Virgina were reading the bill non-stop. That part took a few hours to go through. Every calorie and ingredient is decided and regulated by your ObamaCare. I couldn’t believe it. I believe Rush was the first one to call this one.

Well, well, well. I wonder how many liberal fat food junkies are gonna’ like this. And how the blacks will like their chicken wings baked only. I know I won’t! I love my fried chicken as much as anyone. Guess I’ll just have to cook it myself. A lot less salty cooked at home anyway.
What is really great is that dollar menus are the way the poor now eat. I should add that is how they also get very unhealthy and overweight. Wait until this really ramps up and these same people can’t afford their cheap fast food and can’t get care at all because of their body weight index.

If the government is paying they will want a say in what you eat, how you sleep, smoke, drink, etc.
Already, major corporations have “medical health programs” that ask probing questions, including do you own any firearms.
I guess they will also have to rescind Roe v. Wade then.
I've decided to start making my own junk food. Going to get a deep fryer and make my own potato chips and fries (with lots of salt!). The Chex Mix recipe that is popular at Christmas is good for salvaging a number of crunchy snacks that have had their taste and salt removed by companies who fear the food police.
They are using the big umbrella of “proving the general welfare” clause. That could mean anything. Why aren’t they making us buy guns?

I’d love to but I’ve been working out at the Y trying to drop pounds....For every 10 lbs off I get a treat (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard). I am on VA, I get paid lots of money every month that I live so I have decided to voice my disgust at fedzilla by ensuring that I live as long as possible.
