Should the U.S. Government spend $16,000 to send Ground Zero Imam to other countries? Vote in Poll

The U.S. Government has decided to send Feisal Abdul Raul, the Ground Zero Imam from the Cordoba Initiative, to threee other countries (Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates) on behalf of the United States in order to promote religious tolerance à la Islam at a cost of approximately $16,000. This includes $3000 to the Imam for his work. Quite a bargain for anything the U.S. Government decides to spend tax-payer money on these days; however, does it make any sense for our Government to do this? Before you vote in the poll below, let us consider this interesting turn of events.

The Cordoba Initiative has recently been a hot-topic in the media because individuals from all political persuasions, including Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, are opposed to building the Cordoba House Mosque so close to Ground Zero - the site of the 9/11 attacks. Even Obama had to backtrack this past weekend on the "wisdom" of building a mosque just 2 blocks away from the site of the former twin towers. So if you are going to send a Muslim on behalf of the United States, why send this guy?

The two-week tour is obviously a blatant attempt by the U.S. Government to engage in the politics of religion. If we are supposed to believe in the progression of seperation of church and state, where the Government does not endorse or promote any one religion, then why use Government funds from U.S. taxpayers to endorse and promote Islam? Try to imagine the U.S. Government spending $16,000 to send Joel Osteen to the U.K. in order to promote religious tolerance. Or Dallas pastor T.D. Jakes to Africa. Or Fort Worth pastor Kenneth Hagin to Germany...

Yeah, send him but they gotta' agree to keep him. Now, let me return to my fresh grilled salmon slice cooked on a George Foreman Grill.

This thing is really neat.

How about sending him to Bermuda. We put him into a C-130 and fly him over the coast. When we near Bermuda, we push him out of the plane after telling him, as the Saudis tell people who are sentenced to undergo this ordeal, “You will live, al-Lah willing. If you live, you are innocent of the crime of which you were accused.”

George Foreman Grill--The Best!!!!

Steak, peppered, medium rare*-- Check @ 4 Minutes. Shorter time than takes to get my asparagus tips ready. Crumbled blue cheese.

My Popularity Poll says George Foreman Grill pulls higher than the imam, or this Administration, for that matter.

This is nothing but a tax payer funded tour for this guy to raise middle-eastern money for the 9-11 Victory mosque.

Everything he does is for the destruction of America. Religiously and politically. Politically? Here is an excellent example of the Anti American president at work...

Most people do not recognize that what happens in a mosque is sedition. Pure and simple. Islam is not just a “religion”, it is a cult. Larger than that though, it is a political system, it is it’s own government, its judicial...is in its sharia, and its military (jihadis) all rolled into one with one intent ...and that is to rule wherever they take root. It is a invasive, systemic infection looking to take over the host once it has quantum.

This is not just a “religion”, but something that cloaks itself in those terms so it should not be given the same treatment contemplated under the first amendment. The Korans Sharia rules are to consume whatever government there is wherever it goes. It is political, and it’s goal is to supplant and replace.

The sooner America learns this , the better.

Obama? Obama and Company? Should be tried for treason in this issue for promoting the establishment of a foreign government on our soils. He is doing nothing to protect America as per his oath. Also, as a Muslim, he knows this, he know far better, he knows sharia, but is looking to deceive America.

Does the government pay for Christians to travel to other countries to promote religious tolerance?
