So I'm watching President Obama's press conference yesterday... okay I'm not REALLY watching it, I had the sound down at various points because, lets face it, we pretty much knew what he was going to say. Plus, there was laundry to do. No big deal, the cable networks put those captions on the screen which basically tell you what he says as he says it, its called a bug. He's talking about the Republicans taking hostages while the bug says something about Republicans taking hostages, right below his face.
Of course for an instant I was a little confused and I thought may be there was a bank robbery gone bad in downtown Los Angeles or something and CNBC was going to cut to it right after the President's remarks. So I squinted at the screen and figured out that it was just some lame political rhetoric devised to let Obama's supporters know how disappointed he was in himself. The President was saying to all the hope filled hopesters, 'no really, I wanted to tax the crap out of the rich for you, but I couldn't do it because the Republicans wouldn't let me. Sorry to kill your buzz, we'll get em' next time and remember, I'm not George Bush.'
It wasn't his smoothest performance, some truth leaked out by accident and he started telling liberals to get off his damn back.
If his press conference was meant to sooth Democrats it hasn't worked because the left is going absolutely ape. Last night I leaned forward to watch MSNBC and Keith Olbermann was not calm. I guess before the show he found out Santa Claus wasn't real. It amazes me how liberals lose sleep over the visual of a millionaire lighting his cigar with a hundred dollar bill.

The have not always hates the haves until they have.The Democrat party is a good example because only they should have for control reasons.
