It is being organized by the ILWU. They planned it originally for a month ago, but the port threatened to fire all the ILWU members. That’s when the Big Government web site had the video of one of the ILWU members stating that the port shut down was planned to show unity with the protesting ILWU members in Longview, WA, who were in the news recently for union violence.
