Flashback: Ron Paul Endorses Cynthia McKinney, Ralph Nader For President
Brian's Right Perspective ^ | December 26, 2011 | Brian

Posted on 01/01/2012 3:29:16 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

As if there are any more reasons to show that Ron Paul should not be the GOP Presidential candidate, there is this bit from 2008 in which Paul endorses four(!) candidates for President, including the Marxist whack-job Cynthia McKinney and Ralph Nader. How unhinged to you have to be, intellectually, to endorse not only four people, but four whom also hold diametrically opposing views on the role of government. This alone shows that Ron Paul is not a serious thinker. In fact it shows him to be a reactionary flame thrower, willing to completely abandon principles when he doesn't get his way.

Ron Paul may truly be concerned for the direction of the country, as all of us are, but undisciplined rhetoric and childish temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way should disqualify him from the top nomination of any party.

See some of Cynthia McKinney's lowlights...: On Libyan Television supporting Ghadafi Regime....

....Paul, who unsuccessfully sought the Republican presidential nomination, will tell supporters he is not endorsing GOP nominee John McCain or Democratic nominee Barack Obama, and will instead give his seal of approval to four candidates: Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney (my emphasis), Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr, independent candidate Ralph Nader, and Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin, according to a senior Paul aide.

Yes, but to have the Paultards tell it, only by electing Paul can we prove our patriotism—he’s The Only One who repects our consitution and understands liberty and blah blah blah...

Proof that the lunatic fringes of left and right are one big radioactive pool of insanity.

It is insanity.

75% of his followers are Jim Jones-like.

The 25% pulling the Paul majority along, want U.S./Israel backs against the wall so free market capitalism crumbles.

Paul WILL go 3rd Party.

Well I have got to say CW, that this information, properly disseminated on the ground in Iowa, OUGHT to pretty much defuse and dismantle whatever campaign Paul has going on up there.

I mean REALLY folks (and I'm talking to whatever PaulTards show up to defend the indefensible here), how on EARTH could you possibly continue to support a lunatic who gave his own personal stamp of approval to the likes of Cynthia McNinney and that perpetual liberal clown Ralph Nader?

PaulTards, PLEASE, give your head a shake. Surely you have enough untainted neurons remaining in your heads to realize that Ron Paul is NOT what he appears to be?

Fer gawdsakes, take your votes and give them to Perry, Santorum, Gingrich or even Bachmann, but get OFF that PaulTard Express while you still can, before you waste your vote on the senile sputterings of a guy who jumped the shark a LONG time ago.

Nice find CW, you did a good thing posting this.

*sigh*

This blog post has a misleading title. He endorsed Chuck Baldwin. His appearance with those third party candidates wasn't an endorsement, but basically an acknowledgement that they all agreed on a few issues... So the whole thing was more of a general suggestion that people should vote for a third party candidate. But when asked who his choice was, he endorsed Chuck Baldwin.

Third Party debate:

RON PAUL ENDORSES BARR,BALDWIN,MCKINNEY,AND NADER

He wanted the "four" candidates to "get together" and go Third Party with all their supporters.

For further proof (redundant, I know) that Ron Paul followers make the Moonies look like skeptical freethinkers, go to frontpagemag.com & look up any article with his name. The PaulBot commenters hysterically denounce ANY criticism of their Dear Leader, it would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic.

I saw PaulBottery came in 2008 when I took an entrance ramp onto interstate. The grass in the cloverleaf was a riot of color with candidate signs of all names & persuasions stuck everywhere. When I drove back a day later these were all gone and replaced with nothing but Ron Paul signs.

Remember, criticism of Dear Leader makes you an enemy of the people.

I can't watch the video right now because of the computer I'm on, but I can read some the comments, and they're saying pretty much the same thing I said.

Why put so much effort into trying to bring him down, are you scared that he has a chance of winning the nomination? I thought he "has no chance" according to many of his opponents, and the MSM. The fact that you guys are throwing all of this stuff against the wall to see what will stick is interesting... Hopefully it will cause people who value the truth to actually look into things, and think for themselves rather than let the MSM do their thinking for them, or believe misleading headlines at first glance. And hopefully eyes will be opened. That's what I'm praying for.

Good find. By directing his supporters to fringe candidates, he was helping Obama get elected.

The push for Paul has the makings of an ‘operation chaos’ from Acorn, OWSers and Bamsters. The mystery is; how are they being made available for polling?.

After the GOP convention, I suspect, they will disappear from view and vote for BO. He has already accomplished Paul’s foreign policy philosophy: surrender and isolation.

JMHO

Unfortunately the lack of any decent conservative on the ticket right now has given Ron Paul a surge. I agree with Paul on about 96% of the issues, but the other 4% are Show Stoppers. I just don’t see anyone but (holding my nose) Romney at this point. Gingrich is a sleazeball and the others are not Presidential material.

I believe a lot of Ron Paul’s support is cynical (follow the money). Young people "looking forward" to no jobs in the Obama depression, or working on degrees in areas where government money could fund a study, a program (their professors have sucked on this tit for decades) -- instead of being “wasted” to support the "evil" military and “misguided” war on drugs -- which also ties into what they've been taught in many institutions of higher education -- so many useless degrees and “green” thinkers believing that Ron Paul is the Rx for what ails the country. So they're leaving support for Barack “hope and change” Obama at the school house/no job market door and flocking to Ron Paul which has the sweetener of hurting those “evil-rich” conservatives who are destroying the planet and are ready to “bomb” the world.

The problem for them is -- they never will get the money; it always finds another home. With the debt and deficit ballooned out of sight, that money isn't heading in their direction. The naturally productive ones will eventually “grow up” and realize the truth about living in a safe, free market society but many will hang fast to the hope (libertarians for sure) that once the "war on drugs" and the "evil military complex” have their wings clipped, some of those trillions of “wasted” dollars will certainly flow to them. It won't and their lot will be worse. We have for too long been building “me-me-itis” generations, whose values and goals are nurtured and fanned by teachings of socialist professors spawned in the Sixties who have multiplied themselves with our youth.

So Ron Paul is their cup of tea. They’re only one step away from OWS (most likely have a foot in both camps already). If Ron Paul definitively said, "I will not run third Party," much of his support would evaporate today. Which is precisely why he has not ruled it out.

I beg to differ. The MSM blackout and distortion of Rick Perry's record along with the incessant "dumb" beat-down, has been an attempt by the media and the Mitt Romney/GOP establishment to side-line his nomination.

Gov. Rick Perry is the true, consistent conservative with small government credentials and record of achievement, who believes in American exceptionalism.
