Obama Thanks EPA For ‘Historic Progress’

In an apparent attempt to shore up support from environmentalists ahead of the presidential election, President Barack Obama made a trip to the Environmental Protection Agency to thank employees for what he said was the “historic progress” they’ve made in protecting the environment.

“You protect the environment not just for our children but their children, and keep us moving toward energy independence,” Mr. Obama said in a speech to about 200 employees at the EPA’s headquarters in D.C.

The president also sought to tamp down criticism from some business groups and Republican presidential candidates that environmental regulations hamper economic growth. “I do not buy the notion that we have to make the choice between having clean air and clean water, and growing this economy in a broad way,” he said. “I think that is a false debate.”

The oil producing countries in the Middle East would also like to thank the EPA for their “historic progress”.

He continued, “There is no evidence to backup what I am saying and quite frankly I would be ammazed if there was because I make this crap up. Really, I don’t make it up I read it off a teleprompter. I couldn’t tell you how a water filter works much less tell you if the EPA has a clue”

This will probably receive scant notice here or anywhere else but I witnessed with my own eyes a new low by EPA. I also witnessed irrefutable evidence that the feds have too much of our money, too much power, too many people employed and too much time. Furthermore I believe what I witnessed shows clearly that we live in Tyranny. What was this scene I cast my eyes upon?

A federal employee parked on the side of a rural road with a pair of binoculars trained on a pasture. Doing what? Counting cow pies to see if we are over grazing our pastures. Why? Because the runoff goes into watersheds as it has been doing from these same cow grazed pastures for the entirety of my nearly 6 decades and for at least 10 decades before me.

Somehow, for the last many decades we have taken care of our forage crops and grazing land being very careful not to overgraze easily seeing the terrible negative effects of doing so exhibited by some of our foolish neighbors. We make a living from the land and most of us are pretty darn careful to care for the land we still have.

I love my country and I HATE the government. Surely revolution is not far away.

One wonders if these employees of the state ever consider that what they are doing might be dangerous to them?

Consider for example whomever it was in the FAA that decided it would be a good idea to ground the ultralight that has been escorting Whooping Cranes on migration now for several years. I wonder if he or she ever considered how stupid this action was and who it might anger since it was so stupidly absurd?

Of course, many of these employees of the state are young and foolish and only act as ZEROs and ONEs as if they are digits in the binary of a computer language or program. Few think on their own but instead simply act according to programming.
