Update on the AFP Waukesha Healthcare Reform rally from last night-My personal reflections

When the Supreme Court verdict came down yesterday upholding Obamacare as a tax (it wasn't a tax, BEFORE it was a tax) I have to admit I was totally depressed. I thought of the times Julie S. and Barb K. (my bus buddies) and I (and many others) took 4 bus trips to Washington D.C over the last 3 years to have our voices heard in our nation's capitol. I thought about the money and hours spent working on Sheboygan Liberty Coalition rallies and other events trying to convince fellow citizens and legislators of our need to take back our country.

We have had victories and defeats along the way. I remember riding the bus back from Washington D.C. listening to the radio as they read off the votes for Obamacare with each name sounding like a death knell. You could hear a pin drop in the bus except for a few sighs and quiet sobbing for the loss of our great country.

Then we had the excitement of electing Ron Johnson to the Senate and Scott Walker as our Governor. Yippee! Happy times are here again... and then the senate and Governor and Lt. Governor recalls came. More gut wrenching work ahead. But Wisconsinites are strong and we pushed on and showed the public section unions of this state plus the rest of the union that they could not bully us anymore.

When the Supreme Court slapped down Arizona's laws to protect herself from illegal immigration last week (under the guise that it was the FEDERAL government's job) I was shocked. Then to have the FEDERAL government basically tell Arizona (sure, you can call us when you arrest and illegal alien) but we aren't going to answer the call or do anything about it) my heart sunk.

I HAD to believe this week that we would be vindicated when the Supreme Court would find Obamacare unconstitutional. When the verdict came down yesterday I was in shock, appalled and dismayed. I finally understood President Bush's term "shock and awe", but not in a good way. I tried to do my job while listening to the commentators on the radio, but found no solace there. Since I had contacted everyone about the AFP Decision rally earlier in the week, I found everyone who said they had planned to go were not. Some had very legitimate reasons, while others were weak. Most people said they were "too depressed". I was feeling down too, but Tim and I had already planned to go and I was already on my way to pick him up at work.

When we got to event in Waukesha, we saw people who looked like we felt. Disbelief was in their faces, they walked around shaking their heads wondering "what was Chief Justice John Roberts thinking", shoulders down in defeat. However, within a few moments, the mood changed. We saw people still wearing the colors of the Flag of the U.S.A., AFP T-shirts, stickers for their choices for senate candidates, and the smiles started coming back. We knew we had won other battles together, and could do it again.

The speakers began and we listened with ears that wanted to hear hope and were not disappointed. Nancy Milholland, Luke Hilgemann, Vicki McKenna, Senator Leah Vukmir, Mr. Dave Pratt and others were awesome. However, in my eyes, the most impressive speaker was Mr. Michael Boldin from The Tenth Amendment center.

Michael said "We don't need no stinkin' judges or permission to exercise our rights". Michael talked about how the founders knew a government without limits is tyrannny, and that it us up to the people, through the states to take back our God-given rights from the over-reaching federal government.

I'm energized again and ready to "fight the good fight". Please read the Constitution and visit www.tenthamendmentcenter.com to find out how we can take back our rights through nullification.

"We must hang together, gentlemen...else, we shall most assuredly hang separately."

We have the Racine County voter fraud debacle too.
I heard Brian Shimming talking about it again.
I am sure Van Waangarrd was robbed by unrestrained and blatant vote fraud. I am glad he has not conceded.

I heard today that (surprise!) the “judge” in Dane County is not expected to move his ass off our Voter ID Law in time for the November election. So more rampant fraud is on the way for that election too. How do these Rats sleep at night? They’re just evil.

You don’t know how much your post just helped me. Thank you.

Yesterday was a very dark day, my worst since the ‘08 election. Less than 3 hours sleep last night.

Today, I feel more determined than ever...and with your post, I feel I can take on anything.

Wisconsin knows what a long fight is. And how it is won. I am learning. :-)

Thank you for the great report and the encouraging words. I wish that I’d been there. I forgot all about it until 7 PM, and then it was too far to go.

Don't get depressed, that is what the left counts on, there are more of us than them. Justice Roberts did us conservatives and constitutionalist a great favor in both of the big decisions. His opinions very clearly mean that he understands that the final arbiters of policy be it immigration or healthcare are we the people. He was right when he said that it is not the courts role to protect the people from the consequences of their own political choices. Simply put it is time for the people to rise up at the ballot box and volunteer as poll watchers etc...etc... Tell your people not to be depressed Roberts opinion is that we the people must be responsible for the direction of our country and he is correct. I know it hurts to have to accept the fact that the progressives got a victory, but remember it is a fleeting victory and with Romney as President and Republican majorities in the House and Senate obamacare will be repealed. Buck up people its time to engage at the ballot box in the cold civil war that has been raging for the soul of this country since the Woodrow Wilson administration and John Roberts has given us a major kick in the butt and said get of your asses and reclaim your government and make a government of the people, for the people and by the people again. It is all up to us.

Good message.

You’ve got the best proof of all there in WI, with Gov. Walker. It’s a war, not a battle and we’ll have losses along the way rather than getting depressed and discouraged each time, just remember no one knows how this will turn out any more than those morons banging on drums on capitol square. We send idiots like Nancy Pelosi to make our laws for us and wonder when we get this kind of garbage? Justice Roberts basically told us to put our Big Boy pants on and go work to get the kind of government and laws we deserve!

Keep up the fight. The tide is :

My neighbor and his wife and children are not political. They don’t vote. This time they have all updated their registration and are voting against 0,,,It’s a small segment of BO’s “get out the vote campaign”

We have a small local grocery that makes the best chicken salad. The large family is connected to most of the county. Now they’re all R, but thirty years ago they were D. Thirty years ago we had all D officials. In 2010 not one D was elected......The owner of the grocery, gave me the details(many that I’d personally research since 2006-7) of not only the Kenyan birth, but also his other corruptions...Her comment was after Clinton’s blue dress issues and now the DNC have given up BhO we will NEVER vote D again.

One person, family member, neighbor, friend, pastor either planted the seed, watered, natured each of these to help turn their heart and mind. BUT, in reality it was WJC and BHO who have gotten out the “R” vote here in Indiana; Helped us replace Lugar; spurred us to change our voter registration system and won us local offices.
Thank you Hill/Billy and MO/BO!

Keep up the fight: VIctory is just over the hill!
