Which faculty members, exactly, are you referring to when you talk about Bill Ayers’ connection on the Columbia faculty?
Anyway, a LOT of people see the country circling the drain and hear people fighting about Obama/Romney....People that are pretty much out of the loop. I think all the little rumor and innuendo that floated last time are coming up again, for good reason--NO ANSWERS. The Root commentary is back because his MAIN POINT is worth looking into.
....And with Obama going negative to the extreme, ALREADY, I think it's great that Limbaugh, etc., put this out into the public consciousness yet again.
Root may not be the best writer in the world, but his theory about Obama’s years at Columbia ring somewhat true. I have my own theory about Mr. Obama, that being that Frank Marshall Davis (his bio daddy IMHO) opened the doors of the old Chicago Communist Party to BHO. Frank worked closely with Val Jarret's father in law (perhaps grandfather...but I think it was father in law)and close members of Axlerod’s family. Once Barry got in this with this group, he caught Thomas Ayers eye, as Ayers was looking for a black guy puppet to eventually run for Mayor and take back the eduction cabal run aground by a black power structure. Ayers paid his way up and out of crappy Oxy, when crappy graded Barry got an unheard of 3rd year transfer to Columbia, then greased the skids all the way up to and including the Harvard Law Review presidency. Bill Ayers then wrote DREAMS and helped him with the forgery of those tedious loose ends, like the Selective Service card. Barry started his political life in Bill Ayers living room and he was off to the races.
So....my take on your post: I think it's only a good thing if a former Obama "independent", paying attention for the first time, reads Root and begins their own little research project. They will quickly figure out what has been debunked. Mr. Roots theory HAS NOT BEEN.
well, she oculd trade them for Vince Foster’s autopsy, Chelsea’s DNA, and/or audio or video tapes of her with her girlfriend in some hotel room or at Camp David!
Bingo!
Another, Bingo! There's already talk about not counting the military votes. They sure got that out early, huh.
Ayers was a grad student at The New School for social Research.
He had a cousin, or sister-in-law who was a professor of Education at Barnard, Sorry I don’t remember more at this time. Been a while. Also ... the main question here is the NYC connection between Ayers (aka, “The Guy from the Neighborhood”) and Obama.
(Ayers is important to Obama, and it's possible they met in Manhattan; but there's not much to really link Ayers to Columbia itself.)

After the September 11 attacks in 2001, Brzezinski was criticized for his role in the formation of the Afghan mujaheddin network. He countered that blame ought to be laid at the feet of the Soviet Union's invasion, which radicalized the relatively stable Muslim society. ...
In August 2007, Brzezinski endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. He stated that Obama "recognizes that the challenge is a new face, a new sense of direction, a new definition of America's role in the world."[23] also saying, "What makes Obama attractive to me is that he understands that we live in a very different world where we have to relate to a variety of cultures and people."[24] In September 2007 during a speech on the Iraq war, Obama introduced Brzezinski as "one of our most outstanding thinkers,"
Tiny cough of poster's remorse from me. Still workin' on it!
That Brzezinski Link is very important ... as you point out, Obama's stay at Columbia was rather suspiciously brief for him to study his way to the degree ... and of course, we are not allowed to see what courses he actually took.
I seem to have missed the main point about Wayne Allyn Root's revived article about "Obama at Columbia, etc." Yeah, there's an awful lot of chaff mixed in with the good hard wheat, but that doesn't seem to be quite the real point here.
Root's article has provided the former rock'n'roll DJ's who pass as political philosophers on "Conservative Talk Shows," a hook upon which they can hang questions about Obama's bona fides ... without falling into the all-media-forbidden "Birther-Nut" (I'm one) category.
This is great for them. That's because it gets them off another hook: namely their universal failure to even mention the various "eligibility issues." IMNSVHO, That's been making all of us rather itchy.
I mean not a one of the gold brick, emergency food, software, and mattress salesmen has even mentioned Sheriff Joe' Arpaio's work in establishing that what Obama showed the world was most likely not what he got from the Hawaiians, and that his SS# and Selective Service Records are mighty fishy, to say the least..
So, Root's Re-Hash has been good for them. And it is good for us. That's because finally, our favorite right-wing yakkers are now at least approaching the eligibility issue, even if indirectly. Will it mean anything in the election? Well, even if it isn't the "Magic Bullet," it is still good ammo. Good Luck to us all!
BTW, I speak everyday with Obama supporters; True Believers. All I can say is that they fit into the missionary category of the "Invincibly Ignorant."
A crack-smoking Obama could be joined to Larry Sinclair by Louis Farrakhan on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Eric Holder could then machine-gun 500 Mexican women and children, and still Obama would get their votes.... or so they tell me ... 'cause he's gonna tax the rich.
