From the start of the article it sounded like the “Thinkers” finally started thinking. At least they are admitting that they don’t “think” about what a candidate says, believes or promotes, they only “think” about the color of the person’s skin. I don’t doubt there’s disenchantment in the Black community over Obama. Nor do I doubt there’s widespread anger in that community over “White guilt”, and the need to manipulate it. What I don’t see is their expressing it to an outsider as this piece purports. Especially with the feeling in the Black community toward gays.
One further point. He writes of them as movers & shakers. Well, the tone of the piece tells me they’re Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton crones or wannabees. They’re just as bad as manipulating the Black community as Jackson and Sharpton ever were.

In my business years, I have looked several people right in the eye and told them exactly that when they tried to play that card regarding job performance or hiring on qualifications rather than quota.
