The key is going to be the next battle in two months.

In two months it will be starving children, homeless, and religion hurts women, and recreational sex means marriage.

Not all these are “rinos” just yes votes.

All this does is give us some moron who runs in the primary who could not pass an IQ test for parking lot pointer. (for those in rio linda, the person paid to stand in a parking lot during events and direct people to go a particular direction over and over)

an idiot in a primary is just what we need,,,, NOT!

primary candidates should be somehow screened to be COMPETENT COMMUNICATORS, not some doofus who could not present a kindergardent book report on “spot”.

We conservatives are the true RINO’s. The GOP establishment has controlled the party for a very long time, and the mainstream Republicans do not like us.

Ron Paul didn’t vote and he claims to be such a fiscal hawk. So he isn’t a fiscal conservative and a social liberal, big surprise.

Happy New Year

I suspect RP didn’t vote cuz he realizes or thinks his term expired at midnite on 12-31. Plus he is not in the new congress. Which hasn’t been sworn in.

At some point names lose meaning. I would argue that those who voted or abstained are Rebuplicans. Those who voted no are labelled Republican; their actions speak differently. They are the rinos.

You people are absolute morons. If the Democrats get the House in 2014 the country as we know it is over.

Kill yourselves.

Larry, consider posting the BI article as a thread here. A big question for Freepers is whether the “starve the beast” strategy (a) is working and (b) is still a sound strategy.

http://news.yahoo.com/house-roll-call-deal-avoid-fiscal-cliff-045943228.html

THAT IS THE HOUSE ROLL CALL

only 16 DEM ‘NO” votes. But what was the conservative majority GOP alternative bill? It didn’t really exist because it wasn’t written. So the majority of the majority supported something else (allegedly), and they couldn’t bring a bill up for a vote?

it is the conservatives in the House who seem to be stooges ... but they were painted into a corner because their constituents would not allow support for anything except “extend cuts for all”. it’s a non-negotiable position. People who take non-negotiable positions don’t fare well in legislatures. The House Conservatives need a leader. Somebody who has been purged. But somebody who can negotiate.

There was real negotiation going on behind the scenes. The DEMS aren’t stupid. They knew a bill would have to be passed and they made sure that it was their bill. DESPITE ALL THE VILE RHETORIC BY THE DEM-SCUM

The Conservative alternative would have been to pass a bill making the Bush tax cuts permenant, let Boehner sign it and pass it on to the Senate.
