There are many reasons information on consumers gets intertwined as in individuals with an uncommon name that live in the same vicinity, father and son with same names, co-signore on loan applications, theft or borrowing of a SSN by an illegal alien, SSN death benefit recipients (spouse or nextof kin) linked to deceased’s SSN, clerical error, deliberate fraud, etc...
Politicians will always protect their own and use your money to do it...
