The Chris Dorner case: Questions?
News stories or lack thereof | 12 March 2013 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

Posted on 03/12/2013 4:45:42 AM PDT by MeneMeneTekelUpharsin

The Chris Dorner case is very interesting. It is strange how the media beats a dead horse when some criminal minority is killed doing something stupid and claims his/her civil rights were violated (i.e. Travon, that shoplifter girl who tried to run over a cop and got shot) and then spreads the story nationwide. So, why has the Chris Dorner story almost complete died?

I have some questions to ask:

1. Where's the continuing 24/7 media coverage of this case and the causes of the event? The man was black. He managed to publish his views that he had suffered injustice. Identified AND many anonymous letters (according to my law enforcement contacts in Texas) have been written corroborating his story. Followup there?

2. What about his family? All I have read was that his mom and a female friend were seen drinking coffee and watching the standoff. Haven't read another word about his mom, dad, brothers, sisters, friends, neighbors, etc. in this part of the country. What gives?

3. What about the promised review of the case of Sgt. Teri Evans? Oh, that's right, Beck lied. That's okay. He's law enforcement.

4. What about investigations and lawsuits relative to the police shootings of innocent civilians in vehicles not matching Dorner's? Two women in one truck were MINORITIES. Why aren't the media wagons circling police HQ? Where's Al Sharpton? Where's Jesse Jackson?

5. What about investigation of media complicity with corrupt law enforcement in all of this? The media must be VERY afraid to look into all of this for some reason. Maybe they were told to back off.

This all leads me to believe we are headed for totalitarian government very fast. All of the big mouths who holler "Molon Labe" better be careful what they wish for. Just like Dorner, you're going to be quickly killed to set an example to everyone else, the media is not going to cover it, no one is going to step up and suggest an investigation of anything.

Another thought...many of the narcissistic, totalitarian leaders of the world who did the most damage end up with their bodies on semi-permanent display. Leaders who truly love the people and serve them are simply buried and mostly forgotten. With which leaders of the world has Obama been friends? Homeland Security has been buying a huge amount of ammo. All of the lies told trying to explain simply ring hollow(points). 2700+ armored vehicles for domestic use just don't fit in the bigger picture correctly, no matter what they say. Fasten your seat belts and get ready for the ride.

You don’t understand. I really don’t care who he is. I have no reason to care yet. It appears that the author of your post thinks some travesty has happened regarding press coverage, but doesn’t go into what Dorner did, what his condition is, or anything.

I have not had television since 1997 and consider the MSM to be a waste of air space. I also believe following murder and other crime stories is basically gossip - unless it directly affects my local community.

If Chris dorner and what he did or what happened to him actually mattered in my locale, I’d have heard about him. That is something I’ve learned about not having any tv/radio news source: If something important happens, I still hear about it.

We live in a time where “convenience” is of utmost importance to the average Citizen. Obama was elected because the factors that allowed him to get elected were present. Although, everyone on here is informed and patriotic (well most everyone), no one is going to be the “rider in the night” sounding the alarm to rush forward and meet the British. Everyone is watching everyone else to see who moves, the problem with this is, those that we know are taking our liberty count on us to stand fast and watch. They are the ones with the power right now - to seize, to jail, to strip our rights away - all because not one of us wants to loose convenience in our lives. It would be different if we lived in the 1700’s where family and church were the only factors in our lives - at present, our enemies have allowed so much to be given that not one of us is willing to sacrifice our ownership of possessions and go up against DHS, TSA, or any of the other three letter agencies. We have become a large herd of cows being surrounded by a small pack of wolves in the middle of the night. I can tell you I’m ready - but I’m not willing to sacrifice my little boy in the hopes the majority of the public will join me...if we don’t vote these morons out of office in 2014 and 2016 - then we will reap what we have allowed to be sown.

And to add to that, I thought the swine and bird flu breakouts over the last few years were the standard Asian things. I didn’t realize they affected the US until they had run their course. IOW, I had no fear whatsoever.

If this Dorner guy becomes important, I’ll see more about him on the internet.

“Google is your friend.”

No, it is not! It’s a spy agency! Use IXQ, no tracking, no cookies, etc.

I NEVER allowed myself to undergo the scanning at the airport (and I flew a lot). Because of people like me, they eventually took them out.

Regarding fighting the fight. This is not the 1700’s. Our founding fathers would have been shooting by now. But they would have been annihilated in days. The only way to fight now is to starve the beast. To outlast it. Well, that and enough of us need to be armed so that “gun behind every blade of grass” phrase has teeth.

I’ve been going Galt for almost a decade now. Yes, even with taxable income. The beast will run out of OPM. And then it will be very hard for everyone.

I moved from Seattle to a small farm I bought in central KY back in 2011 because of what I’ve seen as inevitable since around 2008. We’re focused on building structures, solar power, wind power, precious metals and self sufficiency when the time comes, though we don’t expect a full “Book of Eli” meltdown.

Those that are preparing for a 1776 confrontation are going to go the way of Waco, Ruby Ridge, et-al. The goal here is to simply survive the coming meltdown. The reason? The left won. Decades ago. They’ve only been ramping it up since then - and obviously exponentially in the last few years. But they have about run their course. Be prepared for the coming hyperinflation.

BTW, I just googled Dorner. He’s that black cop I heard about. I had just forgotten his name. I don’t care about him, but I am interested in the fate of the people who’s vehicles were shot up and a couple themselves were shot. But I see that as a local issue in California. And, with my attitude about California, that is simply a “dog bites man” story. Meh. In other news, Palistinians fire rockets at Israel.

Why the hell do you think I live in Kentucky (And I had ample opportunity to move to California)? I wrote off California ten years ago.

Former LA cop and liar, killed about four people that he said were in revenge for having been fired, was burned to death in house up in the woods by sheriff—looks suspicious because no catching him alive for trial

You’re reading about it right now.

Not really. The OP is a rant about some story (not detailed in the OP) not being reported. It does not discuss the story itself. The entire OP can be paraphrased as follows: How come nobody is reporting Chris Dorner but they reported these other stories?

I can think of many, many reasons. And what is really comical is that I actually completely agree with the OP. But that ant a couple bucks will get me a large coffee at starbucks.

Dorner shined a bright light on the massive dysfunctionality of law enforcement. That’s
a HUGE no no. The powers wanted that story
put to rest as quickly as possible. Once Dorner
was eliminated and could no longer talk the spin
if needed could start...if not the stonewall act
would commence. Nothing will happen now....the
poor schmucks who happened to scare the badge
monkeys into shooting the hell out of their vehicles
will get som $$$ as compensation courtesy of the
long suffering tax payer....the idiots that panicked
and shot at them will get an award for valor and
Sgt. Evans will be allowed to continue doing whatever
it is she does with no accountability. Dorner broke
the cardinal rule of the blue gang....he refused to
turn a blind eye to the criminality of other officers.

Dorner’s only real mistake was in assuming that if he
told his story something would get done...something
would change. For that he was a fool. He should have
never identified himself...he could have operated as
a lone wolf for a LONG time and meted out retribution
to a lot of members of the gang in blue.

Yeah. I googled it. The only thing I cared about regarding that story was the innocent people the cops shot up. But I don’t live in LA or California, and this is one of the reasons why.

The last time I visited LA was for a friend’s daughter’s college graduation - and in doing so I broke my vow to never step foot in that state again.

On the trip we approached a police road block just before dusk. We pulled into a parking lot just before the road block to see what all teh fuss was and the cops were on us like stink on sh** because we appeared to be fleeing a checkpoint. I don’t do police state well. It’s why I moved from Seattle to KY and why we stopped going to California years ago. I’m in the land of Rand Paul, and all that that implies. And we are not a state. We are a commonwealth.

For me, he is not the story. It’s why I forgot his name. The only story that interested me was the cops shooting up two innocent people’s cars. That one told me all I needed to know about why, if I lived there, my house would be on the market and I’d be using monster.com to get a job outside that hellhole of a state.

My reaction to this story was a little like my reaction to a car bombing in Baghdad or a murder in Chicago. It’s what happens there and why I avoid the place.

Lurking in the background is the way the MSM handles black on black crime. The most notorious case seems to come out of Florida. There when the perp was initially described to the leftwingtards as a jewish white rightwinger, they went berserk for months. Finally we know he's actually a fairly mixed up guy, with a German surname, some hispanic ancestry, and some black ancestry. The MSM is no longer wildly enthused.

The Texas shoplifter case didn't involve the shoplifter driving a car getting shot, but rather the shoplifter sitting in the back seat getting shot ~ a minor technicality but one you ought to think about ~ a lot of these killings involve the cop shooting a passenger, not the driver. Now that the MSM discovers that everybody in that event was black, they simply dropped it.

Dorner? He's black. First people he killed were black. MSM is not ever interested in a black cop killing other black cops or the relatives of black or other minority cops (her dad was Chinese)

Clever Conservatives have noticed that the MSM is not interested in black on black crime ~ even Sunday when 11 black people were gunned down on North Capitol street in DC the MSM wasn't covering it!

Now you go nuts and kill a bunch of white third graders in a white bread town full of white bread Democrat elitists, that'll make so much news they'll get Congress interested in taking away your guns!
