Why not?

Apparently our young people are only meant to serve as cannon fodder in the military’s foreign ‘adventures’ for the financial benefit of our leaders...

re: Money is one thing, but you have to wonder why the Chinese would send their kids to school here.

There are a number of reasons. One is that they believe their children will get a better education. They also believe that their children will have greater opportunities with an American education. There is a certain amount of status that comes with an American degree.

Something else to note is that while the US goes out of its way to make non-English speakers comfortable (particularly Spanish speaking) due to political correctness, countries such as China include English as a required subject. China sees the value of their citizens being educated in the most important language in the world.

Another reason that many Asian parents send there students to America for their education is that education is less stressful here. Korea and Japan are especially high pressured. Students commit suicide every year due to the overwhelming pressure placed on students to succeed.

They don’t have to come here. Distance learning is booming with Chinese virtual students subsidizing tuition in these days of diminished job opportunities here in the US. Basically, they are outsourcing their education to low-cost providers in the US.

I have known 2 Chinese students. They both were sent to the states in high school years and both are attending college here, there families are rich “government servants”. The parents have no intention of ever having their children return to China. My understanding is they realize it is just a matter of time before they lose their government wealth producing jobs, they are also transferring wealth, purchasing property here as well. They still trust the dollar more than the yuan.

They have no intention of their children returning because we are now a colony of China.

Very few of them marry outside their nationality.

They’re no different than the Mexicans in this regard, they just have more money.

Wrong, Asian chicks and especially their ABC (America Born Chinese) daughters are most certainly targeting, dating and marrying White Guys.

The American taxpayer... What a sucker, paying to educate our enemies how best to kill us. Not to mention that by filling up the seats of our best universities with foreigners, we are depriving our kids of those slots. Oh wait, is it we who are depriving our children, or the Chinese? Put it this way, the Chinese know exactly what they are doing to us by hogging those seats.

Yes and yes.

And the students are eager to come. The prevailing attitude amongst thinking ChiComs is “why would anyone with a brain want to stay in this country?”

The males rarely, if ever, marry outside their nationality. It’s one thing for the sister to have ‘funny looking’ kids, those kids don’t have the family name.

I’ve known and worked with dozens of Chinese descent men and women. This was THEIR explanation, btw.

I’ve known exactly one male who married outside his nationality. He softened up his parents by telling them he was gay. And about 6m later introducing his white girlfriend and stating she’d cured him. His brother was doubly pressured to marry Chinese at that point.

BTW, the colonization statement concerned Chinese from the mainland who’ve immigrated over the past 15 years or so. I’ve not seen any of those males marry or even seriously date white women (or hispanic or black women). Their wives ‘join them’ from the mainland and they promptly pop out 2 or 3 kids. Or more.

My experience is different.

I believe the Japanese are very nationalist but not the Chinese. I work for a Chinese company and all the Chinese guys here tell me to come back to China with them and they will hook me up because all the girls there want a western boyfriend. In fact, one guy at work recently introduced me to his sister in law and we have just started dating and previously another Chinese Girl I worked with set me up with her friend (It didn’t work out).

Asian guys generally have a had time dating outside their race because they are generally short and/or thin and aren’t good looking (Not to mention the stereotype of them being very small you know where).

But yes it is true when it comes to other races, Asians are very racist against Blacks, Hispanics and Indians and such.

Yes, of course they will hook you up with their sisters.

As I said, your ‘funny looking’ children wouldn’t have the family name.

The Asian guys (Chinese) I have known weren’t remarkably shorter than their American counterparts. I worked with one guy from Northern China who was 6’2”. The Vietnamese were shorter than the Americans on average though.

I personally know 3 Chinese guy (2nd generation) /American girl relationships where the family lawyer was called in for consult re: disowning him should he go forward with the relationship. The *only* marriage I know of where Chinese male married ‘American’ female was the ‘I’m gay, Oh look, she cured me!’ one. And it took 10 years and several children for the parents to ‘get over’ that. Well, maybe not ‘get over’, but at least set foot in their home. There’s still serious disparity between the gifts to the fully Chinese grandchildren and the ‘half’ Chinese grandkids though. And the kids know it too. Ie, $250 gift certificates to Macys for school clothes for the Chinese kids and $100 gift certificates to Target for the halfs.

While they might want to set you up with their sisters, they will NOT set up your sister with themselves or their brothers. Trust me on this. They might **** her but they won’t marry her.

Although at the rate they’re genociding their female fetuses and infants they might have to ‘downgrade’ to have a wife and kids. Or develop ‘alternate sexual lifestyles’

Interesting thing is both of the students went to Christian high schools, and both became believers. One now attends a Christian college.

That is unusual. Good for them!

I haven’t known any Chinese who were the least interested in even learning about Christianity. They weren’t here prior to undergrad though. And we all know how conducive to Christian thoughts and practice most Universities are.

Although, I have to say, I’ve only known high tech/science types and those aren’t very amenable to Believing to begin with. Regardless of race.

1. An American degree is an incredible status symbol to the Chinese.
2. It could be a route to a green card here or political status at home if you do modest technological spying for the Chinese government.
3. Any baby they have here is outside of the one child system, so some of them come here, have kids, then go home to get around the policy.
4. Some of them may be hoping for a visa upon graduation as the Democrats are proposing.
5. Chinese who study here learn English and American customs, often giving them a top spot in companies that outsource manufacturing to China.
