All but one of the eight co-sponsors on the red light camera bill are Democrats from the Detroit area.Hmmmm.....and what area is it that's having trouble finding $$$$$$$?
But I'm sure that their motivations are purely safety-related, and monetary compensation is completely out of the picture.

Traverse City and Traverse County have been under financial pressure from unfunded pension liabilities, and revenue from red light cameras could provide some relief.
