According to Charity Navigator, WWP allocates 55 percent of its revenue to program expenses and 44.8 percent to fundraising and administrative expenses. That’s pretty poor.
I would like a clarification of the numbers. Does this mean that 99.8% is used in fundraising and expenses, or does it mean that 44.8% is used in fundraising and administrative expenses - which is part of the 55% program expenses?
If the former, it is a completely fraudulent “charity” intended to pay administrative salaries. If the later, it is not being managed as well as it should, administratively heavy, but possibly still well intentioned.
By comparison Fisher House has 96.6% going to the troops, and 2.2% admin costs, and 1% fundraising.
They sure have a huge budget for TV commercials.
Wow, that's shocking if true. WWP sure seems to have a lot of $$$ for TV commercials...
Wow. So .002 percent winds up actually going to a recipient?
That means to get $100.00 dollars of aid to a vet you would have to donate $50,000?
Think I’ll just stick with giving money to individuals I meet who I think are deserving.
