Read the sentence again. She’s threatening to sue to prevent the release of a document claiming the tapes were misleadingly edited. The sale of the tapes isn’t at issue.
The Clintons want back in the White House. Nothing should be ignored in exposing them.

“tapes were edited”
means that they were copied on to a cheap recorder from the answering machine, way back when, and the cheap recorder tape is her only evidence of the original.
These names and more should never be forgotten.
After all, BJ and mrs bill have already given us such remarkably memorable phrases that already are part of the normal lexicon.
