Same here. What they tried to do to him was a disgrace to this country. He was trying to save the lives of his soldiers. The P-gon and its “lawyers” didn’t think that was the right thing to do. Shooting a pistol off next to a terrorist’s ear should not be a crime.
It wasn’t even nest to the guy’s ear. Everything I have heard and read from the news reports was that it was a few feet away and in a safe direction.
Either way, Allen is a great guy and was a well respected commander. I only wish I was half as eloquent as he is — he is a really tough act to follow or precede in any speaking engagement.
