Leaked:US think-tank plan on E.Ukraine suggests internment camps, executions, nationalizing property
Russia Today ^ | 7-4-2014 | RT

A leaked memorandum from the RAND corporation think tank suggests that Kiev should engage in an all-out war in the eastern regions, including shutting down all communications, putting citizens in internment camps and killing all who resist.

The RAND Corporation is non-profit global think tank which offers research and analysis to the US armed forces.

In the shocking letter, which has been leaked by the media, the advice offers a step by step brutal guide in how to deal with the population in eastern Ukraine.

‘Military op’s advantages overweigh disadvantage’

In the first line the memorandum notes that the peace plan outlined by new president Poroshenko is likely to fail. However, it soothes, the political and material downsides of the operation will be “outweighed” by the gains.

The chilling letter then lists the advantages that a full scale military onslaught against the two breakaway eastern Ukrainian regions would have.

The pro-Russian political movement, claims the advice, would become decimated and the pro-Russian voters would get disorganized.

Instead of upholding the region’s coal supplies as a source of future employment, it says the decimation of the coal industry in the fighting would mean they would be quickly shut down, thereby relieving the Ukraine of burdensome subsidy costs.

Shutting down the Donbass industries would also mean a reduction in Russian gas consumption and the destruction of the local oligarch Rinat Akhmetov’s clan and his political and economic clout.

(Title shortened to fit)

No way to know, currently, if this is true, but why does it sound exactly like something that would come from the Obamunists and ideolohues we currently have in charge of DC??

"Stage 1: Suspend Constitution, impose martial law" "Stage 2: Internment camps for male adults, any one resisting to be killed on the spot" "Stage 3: Property of convicted and displaced to be nationalized"

Hopey... Changey?

Maybe this “plan” was a precursor to a similar one they will recommend against the “Tea Party” in the US. Think-tankers are just another group of degenerates.

My thought was that this sounds like a plan to use against US, as well.

Imagine how motivated the Dem Base would be if they were told they could take our stuff and property, if they win a civil war?

Beyond all the things chillingly wrong about this document, what’s also disturbing is it seems predicated on Russia sitting on her hands idly by while Ukraine implements this plan.

I suspect it wouldn’t get past “stage 1” before Russia would intervene.

In the end, that doesn’t matter. This is getting widespread play in Russia, first appearing in “Isvestia”.

Even if it isn’t true, it is all too believable, given past history, current events, and some of the things that have been said by members of the Obama Administration in the past.

The plan sounds so positively Soviet, I can’t tell if RT is outraged or envious.

“In the shocking letter, which has been leaked by the media...”

Seriously doubt this was “leaked” by the media.

“I suspect it wouldn’t get past “stage 1” before Russia would intervene.”

Implementation of “Stage 1” is already underway.

Kiev used the self-declared “Cease-fire” that wasn’t actually a cease-fire to move large amounts of men and equipment into the southeast.

Remember all of the talk last weekend about Poroshenko declaring martial law on the following Monday? Even Kiev press repeated that over and over.

That he didn’t, means something happened to stop him. Could it have been they found out this had been leaked to the Russians?

Remember, they have made some BIG, very high-level personnel changes this week, along with accusations of “spying for the Russians”. I still think the whole episode is being directed, or at least supported in various ways, from DC.

Check out the website of the “media” that leaked it. Who knew that the CIA is planning a FARC attack on the World Cup?

That wouldn’t surprise me. I don’t think anything surprises me anymore. Zero doing a 180 would surprise, and shock, me. But I’m not holding out for that one.
