My dentist wants me to help her convert my medical records from paper to electronic. So I'm supposed to fill out one of those very thorough and personal Yes/No questionnaires.

No problem, if it stays with the doctor.

However, at the very end there is some small print that basically says everything I type goes straight to the DEA.

When I complained, my dentist informed me that every prescription is now sent to the DEA, and every time a prescription is filled that info is also sent to the DEA.

So with regard to drug abuse, we are now all guilty until proven innocent. For now at least they don't keep track of over-the-counter purchases, so I can stay under the radar and soothe my aching head with aspirin.
