By any reasonable standard, the Obama administration has been a train wreck. But that doesn’t prevent our state media from fawning over him as though he were the reincarnation of George Washington. Here, it is CBS, telling us that Obama is a “foodie” who eats at the trendiest restaurants, is “far hipper” than other presidents; in particular, “so much cooler than President Bush.” Actually, if you watch to the end you will get a clue as to why President Bush generally chose not to dine out at Washington restaurants:
Speaking for myself, after six years I have had about all the coolness I can stand.
I can guess.
Bush didn’t want to inconvenience all of the other patrons or the management of the restaurants.
Any place that a president goes to eat would have to have the place searched by the SS, the patrons would have to be searched or removed, and no one would be allowed to enter while the president was there.
Bush cared enough about other people not to eat out.
All the hipsters are dining at foodtrucks for $12-22 a throw per person.
Obammy eat any fusion foods from a hipster food truck?
Thought not.

That’s what it seems like, when we must be constantly told by the candidate’s sycophants how hip, cool and trendy their fumbling virgin of a man-boy honestly is, the faster we see how inexperienced, clumsy and uncool they truly are in real life. And we thought Clinton Fatigue was bad...

Obama says that Islamists are not really muslims.
The employees of the MSM are not really journalists.
You can tell what the American public think of Obama from the results of the 2014 elections. Not just the Senate, not just the House of Representatives, but look at the State legislatures all across the country.
The South didn’t go solidly Republican because they love Obama.
The MSM can print all the Obama worship stories they want. It has no effect on the way people vote.
The only way the Democrats will get blacks to turn out and vote for President is if they were to run black candidates from now on.
Of course increasing the black turnout is not going to offset the loss of white voters who are flocking in record number to the Republican Party.

I would much prefer a mature president like Ronald Reagan! We have eaten at most of the expensive restaurants in Houston and Los Angeles and New Orleans and Orlando, and they are NEVER as good as the less expensive ones. We have eaten at the pricey trendy ones for business dinners, when someone else is paying. We eat at the less expensive ones when WE are paying. The food has almost never very good at the expensive places. Now Brennans can be good in Houston and N.O. bu for the most part the more a meal costs, the worse it is! In Houston some of the best ones are Pappasitos, Lupe Tortilla, and Blue Fish.
ONLY if we can get someone like TED CRUZ as president....

Reminds me of watching the cool rich kids boarding the buses to go on ski trips when we were at Oklahoma State U, 1969-73. I barely had enough money to buy gas at 20cents a gallon to drive an hour to get home in my 1954 Plymouth Savoy! LOL Now we can afford to go skiing, but I don’t feel HIP! Might fall and break one!

We cook three meals a day at our house, we love to cook!
