This is one of the rare times I’ve seen the headline include the word “Palestine”. That word seemed so much in the past.
I’m very impartial regarding the Palestinian and Israeli issue. But as long as it exists, and thus far it has existed since end of WW2, it will be USED by many for an ongoing conflict, which benefits others but not the ones living in that specific part of the world. Frankly, that’s 1 reason we haven’t seen a workable solution... in what? 70 years.
The Palestinians will never accept a 2-state “solution”. They have had many opportunities in the past to get a state of their own and have repudiated every one. It’s all or nothing with them.
