"It’s not too late for the Senate to stop the President’s dangerous Iran deal from becoming U.S. law. Here’s how to follow the Constitution." ConstitutionUPDATED: It’s late, but not too late, for the Senate to stop President Obama’s dangerous Iran deal from becoming U.S. law and putting the American people and our Arab and Israeli allies in grave danger jeopardy from an Iranian nuclear weapons program.

We need to urge the Senate leadership immediately to:

Declare that the President has not fulfilled the terms of Corker-Cardin. Declare the President’s Iran deal a foreign treaty, as per the Constitution. Hold a vote immediately on the treaty. When the treaty fails to gain 67 votes, declare it null and void.

Since Obama FAILED to follow the rules of the Corker-Cardin amendment.....it no longer applies. Do not let Congress still try to pass it under Corker-Cardin! Hold their feet to the laws they pass! Call them

You must always be an optimist. With the various and numerous quislings in the senate and the “leadership” there will be no resistance to the tyrant.

The Senate does not care.

They never wanted to stop it. That’s why the Permanent Political Class has fallen so far out of favor, and why Trump and Carson are doing so well.

The Senate abdicated their responsibilty under the Constitution 99-1. There is no way to stop the Iran “deal”.

With a parliamentary parlor trick, enabled by the Republicans, Barry has been allowed to pass a treaty with a minority vote in the Senate. So, it now only takes 1/3 approval to make White Crib deals with foreign enemies. Shame on all of them!

And here is the perfect storm:
* Barry pulls defensive missiles out of Poland on the trajectory path from Iran to the Continental US.
* Iran has been practicing and perfecting implosion triggering devices so once the fissile material is ready (and it won't take much for the last step) the warhead is ready to be mounted on an ICBM.
* Sanctions will be immediately lifted allowing an inflow of money, making the US a partner in the most prolific and evil state sponsor of terror. Israel will be gone along with all Christians in the Middle East (but Barry couldn't care any less).
* Iran's trajectory tests indicate the same arc needed to set off a small/modest atmospheric burst, creating an EMP (look it up) crippling the power grid of the Great Satan and disrupting commerce, government, and the way of life in America.

Are we stupid? Yes, yes we are VERY stooooopid. Kerry is a dangerously gullible moron, and Barry simply does not like America. But hey, you can do what you want with a 1/3 affirmative vote in the Senate.

Kudos to Joel C. Rosenberg for making the point. But as Joel notes in his article, the true credit must go to Andy McCarthy's excellent article in National Review. Let's just hope Tom Cotton and like-minded Senators pick up on the idea ASAP.

PS: I say the above in full knowledge that I may get flamed by the NR haters on FR for giving NR a favorable mention.

If this is O’s plan, why is he putting so much effort into raising funds for his Presidential Library, and searching for prime real estate for his post-Presidential home?

More Taqqiyah?

Or is he just nuts?

In 2012 Republican Senator Bob Corker, the architect of this travesty, was reelected to his position by a 65% to 30% margin. This politician has no fear of the people and therefore no accountability to the people.

The Iran vote is done. The question before the conservative voters of Tennessee. Will you run a credible candidate in the primary against incumbent Senator Corker and give your time and money to ensure his defeat? If not, there is no hope.

You’re right. The Republican controlled senate does not work for us. In fact, they enabled the Iran deal to pass.

Read the article. If the Senate simply declares the agreement to be a treaty and holds a ratification vote 34 Senators voting against deny ratification. The problem is not the ‘Rats, but the GOP leadership who won’t declare that it’s a treaty and hold a ratification vote.

I hate this deal as much as anyone and I do fear for the nation of Israel but Israel will not be gone. The “time of Jacob’s trouble” is near but a few more pieces have to fall into place. If anything, it is America that will be gone. You touch the apple of God’s eye and it doesn’t turn out well for you (and that is what Obama - and by extension you and I and all of America - is doing). That, in my opinion, is what we should be very afraid of. God is allowing pressure to come upon Israel for his own purposes - but woe to those that bring the evil upon her.

Right on the money.

If Cruz were to lead this effort, I'd forgive his agreeing to the Corker bill.

“A vote for this deal means more money for Iranian terrorism. What do you think they’re going to do when they get more money?”

Trump said Obama has pledge to protect Iran. Does this mean that Iran has pledged to protect the U.S.?
