Will the redistricting affect the POTUS delegate count?

I’m suspicious that this will turn Florida, ‘a swing state’ into a solid dem state. Who controls the Florida legislature?

Repubs, but courts are directing the process.

To answer your question, RINOs are in charge of the FL legislature!

They followed the edict of their DC "leaders" and redistricted Allen West out of his seat when he became as unliked as Ted Cruz and the Freedom Caucus!

There’s also a lawsuit

The Dems are claiming racism in order that they may gerrymander their way to power.

Not all Dems..but Corinne Brown..and she’s calling on the Black Caucus to support her. Consensus is that the new plan..which most Dems support, would cost the GOP 2 seats..but also eliminate Brown..Almost makes it worth it

The translation here is, “Democrats are telling Republican weenies how to redistrict even though they are a small minority of the legislature.

This my friend is ignorant and FALSE. Republicans NEVER voluntarily draw out Republicans seats. You are about the 700th freeper I've seen repeat this falsehood and I'm tired of hearing it.

The stupid FL VOTERS passed in 2010 a "Fair redistricting" amendment that limited the leg's ability to draw good districts. There was no way to keep West's seat from becoming dem leaning. So he ran in a different adjacent seat, slightly R-leaning. Romney carried it narrowly, West narrowly failed to win (likely this was stolen along with the state's electoral votes). This was in no way the fault of the legislature. He'd likely have had won a rematch in 2014 but he chose to quit politics and move to Texas.

And now the ****ing democrat State Supreme Court has ruled that the districts still aren't "fair" enough so they're trying to impose an even worse map and hand a seat to Charlie Crist, who appointed some of them. And it looks like they'll succeed. And it seems like they have to redo the state leg lines too? Yay.

Thank the DEMOCRAT COURTS and ignorant voters who were tricked into voting for that GARBAGE amendment. If you must try to pin this on a "RINO" since freepers hate "RINO"s more than democrats the to point of posting irrational garbage like this, the only one you could is that fag Charlie Crist, he was still a RINO when he appointed those Judges.

Serious people might be interested in the #s, these should be pretty accurate.

Ignore districts 20-27 there, accurate numbers for those can apparently be found in this separate graphic

http://mcimaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Redistricting-States-Plantiffs.png

Notice several safe rat seats gain precious Republican voters away from competitive seats but it's not enough to make a difference in the dem seats. F***!

We gain the 2nd district (Bob Graham's lezzie looking daughter says bye bye) in this map but that's about the only positive.

The 13th (GOP Freshman Jolly is fleeing it to run for the Senate) is being handed to Crist.

The 6th (Open DeSantis is running for Senate) goes from pretty safe to 52% Romney, a seat we could lose in a bad year. The close 7th (Mica) becomes a knife edge 50/50 seat.

The 9th is likely were Webster (current 10th) would have to run. 56% Obama. Goodbye Mr. Webster. New 10th is 60% Obama.

RINO Curbelo (26th) gets several points more rat. He could still win but it'll be hard. RINO Ros-L (27th) gets a slightly better seat but it'll still be a b**** when she retires.

This isn't final yet AFAIK but it sounds like this is it. Bottom line, awful. Breaking even (+2nd and the open 18th which is the seat West lost that doesn't change under the new map, -10th and -13) would be best case and a minor miracle. Likely it's -1 or -2 if we fail to pick up the 18th, or -3 if Mica loses in addition to that which I don't expect but could happen.

IMPY,

I asked a simple question, “Will the redistricting affect the POTUS delegate count?” expecting a respectful answer.

YOUR VENOMOUS RESPONSE TO ME IS UNCALLED FOR. SAY YOU’RE SORRY.

Brown would be vulnerable in the primary, the district is still unwinnable for a Republican. So she’s (maybe) replaced by another rat, maybe a White one. Big whoop, they’d vote the same as her.

That response (#10) was not to you. I merely pinged you and everyone else who posted on this thread to it.

It was addressed to zerosix (as you can see the first name on the ping list, this is almost always who a reply is directed at) and his post #5, which should be plain. I wanted to make sure everyone who have may have read zerosix’s falsehood saw my reply so they know who REALLY is to blame for the loss of Alan West.

In a separate post, #11, I answered your question. I hope this clears up your misunderstanding.

>> You are about the 700th freeper I've seen repeat this falsehood and I'm tired of hearing it <<

While we're on that subject, here are some other falsehoods that CONSTANTLY get debunked on here but keep springing up anyway:

"MLK Jr. was a lifelong, card-carrying Republican"

"JFK was more conservative than any of today's Republicans with the possible exception of Ted Cruz"

"Gingrich-lead Republicans were doing a fantastic job fighting for us, until Newt was unceremoniously removed as Speaker by a RINO-lead coup"

"FACT: If the 17th amendment hadn't been passed, we would have never had Obamacare"

"Prior to the 1960s or 70s, the Democrats were the conservative party and the GOP were the socialists. The southern states have NEVER supported big government statists over limited government constitutionalists. They voted Democrat because the Democrats believed in liberty and freedom back then".

"The definition of Republic is a nation that guarantees the rule of law and upholds individual rights"

"Scott Walker was previously pro-illegal alien and pro-open borders, then he flip-flopped when he ran for President"

"I lost all respect for Tommy Thompson when he endorsed his brother the Libertarian Party candidate for Governor"

"Dr. Milton Wolf had impeccable conservative credentials, but stupid uneducated primary voters voted for liberal RINO Pat Roberts"

"Can you believe so-and-so conservative traitor actually ENDORSED Romney after Fred Thompson dropped out? THE OUTRAGE!! No freeper was pro-Romney back in 2008!"

Puke. Slightly less communist than the other RATs on stage = "Conservative Democrat" in their minds.

I remember some freepers said the same stupid things about Joe Manchin when he was Governor of West Virginia ("honorable, sensible, conservative Democrat"). The useful idiots on our side talked him up so much he waltzed right into a Senate seat.
