Wake-up call for Cruz supporters
Coach is Right ^ | 1/30/16 | Michael D. Shaw

I reproduce this one from Roger Stone in its entirety…

Vladimir Lenin said, “There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.”

I can’t think of a better description of Ted Cruz’s relationship with the DC-Wall Street Establishment – Cruz being the scoundrel of course. Cruz’s claim of not being a tool of the political elite is like Bill Clinton telling the world, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”

Webster’s definition of a scoundrel is a dishonest or unscrupulous person, and Cruz has become quite adroit at saying one thing while his history shows him doing the other. Rather than the outsider he claims to be, Ted Cruz is the ultimate insider, former top Bush 41 policy aide and globalist, Ivy Leaguer, and establishment insider.

Not many conservatives coming out of Princeton and Harvard. “I’m just sayin,'” Ted, as said in the debate.

There is no better example of this than Calgary Ted’s actions surrounding the big Wall Street banks and their secret funding of his political ascension. Cruz has been gorging at the table of the ultimate insider of all insiders – Goldman Sachs and Citibank.

You may recall in a recent Fox Business Network debate that Cruz, in Mr. Haney from Green Acres voice, declared to one of the moderators, “The opening question [moderator Jerry Seib] asked — would you bailout the big banks again — nobody gave you an answer to that. I will give you an answer — absolutely not.”

What else would you expect a scoundrel to say who had secretly secured big sweetheart loans from Goldman and Citibank — by leveraging his retirement accounts –– to fund his 2012 U.S. Senate campaign. Loans which the...

At some point, conservatives are finally going to figure out that the best way to promote your candidate is to promote your candidate, rather than tearing into them or their supporters.

Passionate support brings out voters. Inflamed attacks drives them away.

This primary cycle has turned me off to the so-called “conservative movement.”

I’m a conservative, but with friends like these, who needs enemies.

Me and mine are likely to give up on politics altogether. Let the buffoons and political whores and Johns take over, and burn this country to the ground. I’m done. I’m well enough supplied and trained to hold out while people are eating each other in the streets.

I totally disagree with your analysis. You’re basing it on the fact that Heidi worked for Wall Street ..?? That is not what you should be basing it on.

Actually, the people who are so against Cruz, in both the DemocRAT and Repub parties are the people who are in BED with Wall Street. They are terrified of what Cruz will do to their FREE money pit.

It’s like the Majority Leader of the Senate said, “Cruz is just a NASTY guy”. Hmmmm ..?? Guess that’s where Trump got it from. The LEFT are the ones who are Hyper-Ventilating over the fact that Cruz might be President .. not Cruz supporters.

Good Article...and shows just how Cruz has played the Tea Party, played the voters of Texas, tried to play the people in the Senate, but couldn't because they are more dishonest than he is and they didn't want him in their ‘group’ so they don't like him...

But after this election, showing how well he flips and flops and lies about everything, then using democrat tactics to embarrass the voters in Iowa, they may very well welcome him with open arms...he'll fit right in!!!

But sadly, all that is written here is absolutely true. You should understand what he is doing after having received the keys to the Senatorial political kingdom.

The false narrative of course being that Cruz is the outsider while Trump is the insider. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

In its most simplistic terms - the power elite have no leverage over Trump - nothing.

I agree with the article, Coach, although it is way over-the-top. Cruz would be a good President, better than all the others in either party except Trump, who really is the undeniable outsider.

All these candidates change their minds on even big issues, but I believe Trump is the only candidate who can beat Hillary, and I want her gone more than any thing, any issue, any body. Period.

This circular firing squad is going to destroy us.

Trump had a wing man and ally with Cruz, until about 3 weeks ago when he started dropping "birther" hints. Believe me......that was the first shot across the bow.

So narcissistic Trump gets greedy, and wants to run the table, rather than giving an ally a crumb (Iowa), and keep that ally throughout the primary season.

By all Trumpet accounts Cruz now is in free fall, and based on polling Rubio surging. With Cruz possibly in the background, and believe me,,,,,,, don't expect any endorsements from him, the dynamics of the race change dramatically. GOP(e) darling Rubio starts coalescing the remaining candidates into a coalition that defeats Trump. That lovely 40% number that the Trumpets love is actually a brick wall number.

My fears is that this does not end well, all due to Trump's doing. A strategic disaster to say the least. Ughhhhhhhh

I like Ted Cruz and hope he stays a Texas Senator if he isn’t picked for AG.
I just don’t think he can get elected as President.

The emphatic manner in which Yeb! and Kasuck insist that Trump WILL NOT be the nominee raises the concern that they already have it rigged. McCain and Romney.

It could be that Trump wanted Ted as VP and wanted to be sure he was eligible.

If Obama is eligible so is Ted if we’re just playing a game, but according to the Constitution, neither of them are.

Trump had a wingman ally with CRuz?

Trump folks tried to suggest exactly that, for months on end, to no avail.

Rich seeing the CRuzers whining about the circular firing squad on Teddy. Where was this rhetoric all these months that the non-stop incoming was aimed at Trump?

Also interesting how Trump supporters tried to warn CRuz supporters about the hellfire that would be fired at CRuz....that he’d not get a pass, from MSM, ETC, either.

The time for concern/fears about how this could turn out, once the hits began, has long passed.

I have noticed that the media is now co-opting the term “conservative” and applying it to the Establishment.

It is very confusing what is being done with words. Reminds me of the co-opting, by the Left, of the word “social justice” away from the Catholic Church. Now it means outright socialism, at least in the political world, and has no context today of it’s original definition.

I have been watching freepers frequestly in this election cycle.

My bottom line after watching the ebb flow rip tides and tsunamis of a conservative tinged battle of opinions is that excessive illegal and legal immigration and unfair free trade and corporate dominance of the political process have destroyed the middle class.

The middle class tends to be a godly, moral, family and small business engine uplifting the moral degeneracy that permeates our society.

Nutty as his candidacy appears to many, Trump is the first and only one to see it and have the courage to say he will change it.

Sorry, that is a circular firing squad for both Trump and Cruz.

Keep loving that 40% Number, you'll be getting used to it,with two candidates remaining thanks to the narcism of the Donald

Trump screwed the pooch, and now will have to deal with it, I hate Rubio, but he will be breathing down your neck big time with the steam of 5 other GOP(e) candidates backing,

Instead of the Art of the Deal, I think Trump adhered more the past few weeks on the Wisdom of Gordon Gekko.......... GREED IS GOOD.

Hmmm....Trump is lot more like Gekko than I realized.

I see you still haven't gone to the Doctor to have that Glass-ectomy.

Glass-ectomy(s), are given to people infected with Cranium Rectal Disorder.

A glass-ectomy is when you cut your bellybutton out and put a piece of glass in there so when you have your head up your a$$, you can see where you're going.
