Hungry, hungry, hungry.
Ahhh North Korea - that glorious land of rice, jungle, James Franco comedies, and possible nuclear weapons. It truly is the kind of paradise that only the twin boogeymen of dictatorship and communism could create. Unless, of course, you get hungry.
If you live under the thumb of fearless leader Kim Jong Un, and youre a human being who requires food to survive, you have a problem. Famine is coming and, while he likes Katy Perry, margaritas, building WMDs, and threatening the west, Supreme Leader isnt particularly interested in feeding his people.
Special: As the Daily Meal reports, citizens of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea are being warned that its time to start chewing on roots if they wish to survive. Yes, you read that right. Gnaw on the roots, because another arduous march is at hand.
“Tastes like wild hickory nuts.”
“Some of you may die, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.”
Barry and Congress told us that when they voted in BarryCare for all of us and excluded themselves. Not one moderate or lib I know even acknowledged it.
Supreme Leader isnt particularly interested in feeding his people.
“How is it?”
“He taste like gum.”
“Gum?”
“Juche-Fruit.”
Some of you may die, but thats a sacrifice Im willing to make.
You sure that’s not an OBAMA thought??
I think it’s a sign that Fat Boy knows his days may be numbered. Controlling the food is an attempt to keep folks loyal. All it takes is one General who’s fed up to end the Kim Dynasty.
I miss Euell Gibbons
It appears the Norks might benefit from reading some of his books.
“Ever eat a pine tree? Many parts are edible.”
"Get in my belly!"
South Korean officials have said Jung-un has recently gained as much as 70 pounds and is estimated to weigh 270 pounds. The guy is 32 and already walks with a cane. Probably won't make it another 10 years.
The best was when Johnny Carson lampooned him.
we’re running out of grass and worms to eat - better secure your tree-bark supplies, folks.
I figured they had already eaten all the trees and were working on the rocks.
Me too. And I've always found it quite ironic that Euell Gibbons is dead, but Keith Richards is still alive.
“...and were working on the rocks.”
I’ve read that in Africa they make literal mud pies of soil and water and eat that to at least fill up the stomach so they don’t feet hungry. I imagine the North Koreans have figured out that little trick too.
The dude looking at him must be thinking “His fat ass would feed me and my family for three generations. And my ancestors!’’
My mother cooked dried beans, potatoes & cornbread every
day when I was a kid. Never hungry.
