The Republican National Committee (RNC) got the dividend it was hoping for this past week when a criminal gave other criminals the right to vote in Virginia. Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, a man involved in so many crooked deals he can rightfully be called a not yet convicted felon, has given other felons in Virginia the right to vote.
Using a Barack Obama stunt, Virginias Democrat Governor Terry McAuliffe issued an executive order giving the dregs of society murderers, rapists, arsonists and robbers who have finished their sentences and parole/probation requirements--the right to vote. In a blah blah blah statement explaining his action McAuliffe said, "Too often in both our distant and recent history, politicians have used their authority to restrict people's ability to participate in our democracy. Today we are reversing that disturbing [practice]."
With this step McAuliffe acted totally in the character of Democrats as his supporters at the RNC knew he would. Both they and their Democrat pals well understand that Democrat political positions hold no appeal for actual Americans who pay the taxes Democrats use to buy votes.
Contrary to the breathless survey reports screaming, Hillary Clinton easily beats Donald trump, which McAuliffe knows are fiction, the Virginia governor is doing everything he can to deliver Virginia to Clinton next November. McAuliffe is a long time member of the Clinton Crime family and is looking forward to filling a position in another Clinton Administration.
The RNC insured McAuliffes victory over Republican conservative Ken Cuccinelli because they hate conservatives. They much prefer a crooked Democrat they can scheme with...

Everything, and I do mean everything the LIBITARDS want is always bad for America!!!
I can’t imagine that he sleeps well at night knowing that what he is doing is making America weaker, and more vulnerable to ruin — But then again he is a demoncrat and therefore probably sleeps very well at night knowing that that his actions are only helping to ruin America...If he can’t see what is wrong with what he is doing he is either obviously stoned or stupid.
Accusation in the headline supported by accusation in the article. J’accuse!
Maybe this will bite him in the ass some day.
Karma works in strange ways
Who DO these people think they are?? The Big Dictator and his Little Cronies?? Are we not people of the Law?
There is a scene in "Atlas Shrugged" about 2/3rds through when the ongoing actions of the government are wrecking everything and they have an emergency summit of insiders to think about what to do next. Most are blind fools in over their heads and think if they have more power then can fix it so the solution is to seize more power, naturally. One guy in the room is the head of the unions and he listens and sees clearly that what they are doing is going to lead to ruin. But he cynically says if these clowns are going to wreck the system instead of fighting it he was going to make sure he got his and he signed on in exchange for some kickbacks.
Most democrat rank and file (especially the women) are like the first group. they think a big powerful government will keep them safe and protect them and take care of them so the more power the better. The ones running things are like the union thug though. They know it's destructive and they don't care because they are getting theirs.
.If he cant see what is wrong with what he is doing he is either obviously stoned or stupid....
Actually he is neither.
If anything he is self-centered because his goal is to do everything to make himself richer or more powerful. He is probably doing the right thing to achieve that goal.
His goals are different than ours so his actions look stupid to us but are actually probably right for him.
I liked the Atlas Shrugged movies. Too bad they couldn’t keep the same actors from beginning to end. (I ascribe that to a liberal black-list).
Thanks for making the connection. I think your analysis is correct.
So, some people shouldn’t be allowed to vote, because we might not like how they might vote? Am I getting this right?
In America, we used to view voting as both a right bestowed by God, AND a responsibilitly. Are we sayong that former inmates shouldn’t begin maintaining ALL of their responsibilities as citizens of the united States?
How about other responsibilities such as getting a job, or paying taxes? Maybe they shouldn’t be allowed to eat or own homes?
Maybe we should reinstitute slavery? Slaves weren’t allowe to vote, get jobs, own property. They had to spend their lives kissing the feet of their owners, much like the government imposes restrictions on people who complete prison sentences.
They spend the next several years of their lives tethered to govermnent agencies, paying off their ransome, being told the can’t live anyplace, being refused work by employers while having tje threat of going back to prison over their heads for failure to comply. And they can’t vote, either.
Felonies aren’t always big bad crimes like murder or armed robbery, rape of children, or corporate embezzelment. Sometimes they are as small as slipping a piece of paper on to a pot pipe in a glove box during a traffic stop...a pipe belonging to the car’s owner, the papber being slipped over by a well meaning child, and then the child being charged with felony possession of drug paraphenalia, and being too poor to hire a lawyer.
You all believe that child should never be allowed to vote for the rest of his life?
That’s not a rare isolated incident.
If the U.S. were still a Republic, with limited government, it wouldn’t matter so much who was in charge. Now that we’re a “democracy” instead, where the President’s power is limited only by his buddies on the Supreme Court, it matters who “elects” our rulers. We don’t need more Democrat voters of any kind.
I’ve heard “felons can’t vote” before. It seems it is a matter of state law. I’d like to know how many states allow felons to vote. Apparently existing VA law allows reviews of individual cases. The example you gave is very different from that of a murderer. It makes some sense to allow for individual review.
From what I read, McCauliffe has provided universal, partial amnesty. All felons can now vote, though none can own firearms. For McCauliffe, I think this is ALL about the November general election. That is bad enough. Does he even have the authority to do this without legislative action?
I admit that I have not thought much about this topic. The overt disenfranchisement of Americans is a serious business. On the other hand, having felons elect judges, district attorneys, and other people, may not be the way to go either.
What was the basis for the restriction? Was it a law in the state of Virginia? If so, by what authority did he reverse it? Is this a dare to impeach? Will there be law suits challenging the change and/or his authority to unilaterally make it? If he can do this why can’t he do the opposite and ban smokers from voting?
The felons arent going to come out an vote. But its a chance for morevoter fraud.. If they felt good about Virginia, they wluldnt contunually cheat here. Its time for people to locked up over it.
If the idiot voters in Virginia had not elected this trash, there would be nothing to talk about. Blame the Virginians for extremely bad voting judgment.
why are you lecturing me?
