Every time I’ve dealt with the state offices I can see how they could be automated or subcontracted to minimize costs. Instead they look like welfare offices with most of the employees fat and slow. Essentially, they are welfare jobs. At least at the level I deal with.

State Employees' Average Cost Up to $117,000

I'm guessing that State Employees are provided healthcare coverage, whose costs have skyrocketed thanks to 0bamacare.

It seems states are nearly as bad as the Feds. A cost figure like this should be readily available for citizens of all states.
