America has had several generations now living off the global primacy of the fiat, completely unbacked US dollar and a Federal Reserve that can create unlimited debt. We’ve gotten used to the idea of free stuff, paid for by others, or by debt.
Its a truly historical sweet spot for for our own empire’s version of “bread and circuses” which won’t last much longer, and won’t ever come again.
And what comes after?
