EEOC tells employers: Investigate employees who wear ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ caps

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission: It might be discrimination or something

You know that government can’t restrict your speech. Officially. But they can in all kinds of practical ways, just as they can do lots of other things to you without ever really taking an official action against you.

Take the famous “Don’t Tread On Me” cap. Congress will never pass a law that says you can’t wear that cap, just because politicians may not like what the cap stands for. Constitutionally, Congress cannot do so. But if you think that means the government can’t come down on you for wearing the cap, you need to become familiar with the EEOC.

If “Don’t tread on me” is racist, “Black lives matter” is nuclear racist.

What I've learned by being on the school board;

THEY DON'T LEGISLATE MORALITY,

THEY LEGISLATE BEHAVIOR.

I think it's the most insidiously clever, satanic ploys ever utilized.

How do you feel about employers monitoring employees social media and firing them if they make comments not in line with company policy?

Think this is bad now, let the criminal Clinton get elected, and we will be told what to wear, how to smile and where to work and when.

I lived a personal version of what you speak.

When I was in a university IT department, the fat ugly liberal hag in charge liked to dictate everything and anything.

I think there is a fine line there; a company that sells x brand footwear have to tolerate an employee that publicly espouses the virtues of y brand on their own time if they are easily identifiable as an employee of company x?

On something that specific I would say there is a fine line. But if your employer is a Hillary supporter and you post I hate Hillary on FB, etc. and are fired are you being denied your First Amendment right? It is not discrimination in a right too work state, though.

PS ... I have to leave ... I’ll be back later .... I don’t think the company can do anything about comments made privately ... but I don’t even PLAY a lawyer on TV.

That has to be hell on earth.

If the Clintoons become Obama’s final act re destroying Americans’s rights, America will become a hell on earth for those living here.

The reason I am asking is a friend of my wife works for Walmart. She had an incident with a vendor. Walmart told her she couldn't make any comments on her FB regarding this.

What if I said I think disndat is a liar on FR .... can you DO anything legally TO me ?

LOL. I wouldn't even try. ;-))

I was nearly driven to a nervous breakdown several times and even suicide once or twice before snapping out of it.

The woman was that vile.

In Soviet Russia they intalled government comisars in every “busines” to ensure party unity. HR departments have replaced the comisars.
