Bill Clinton used tax dollars to subsidize foundation, private email server
POLITICO ^ | September 1, 2016 | Kenneth P. Vogel

Bill Clinton's staff used a decades-old federal government program, originally created to keep former presidents out of the poorhouse, to subsidize his family’s foundation and an associated business, and to support his wife’s private email server, a POLITICO investigation has found.

Taxpayer cash was used to buy IT equipment — including servers — housed at the Clinton Foundation, and also to supplement the pay and benefits of several aides now at the center of the email and cash-for-access scandals dogging Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

But even as the Clintons got rich and grew their foundation into a $2 billion organization credited with major victories in the fights against childhood obesity and AIDS — while paying six figure salaries to top aides — Bill Clinton continued drawing more cash from the Former President's Act than any other ex-president, according to a POLITICO analysis. The analysis also found that Clintons’ representatives, between 2001, when the Clintons left the White House, and the end of this year, had requested allocations under the Act totaling $16 million.

MSNBC at aprox 0858 reported this was false.

To me that means it 100% correct.

The greed, conceit and complete corruption of the Clinton’s never, ever ceases to amaze me! I shouldn’t be surprised by it, and in fact I expect it from them but the depths of their corruption never fails to impress!

This cash bucket for ex-presidents....is for general office equipment within their ‘personal’ office. I question the story, but if the equipment was NOT sitting in the designated work space of former president Clinton, then it’s illegal on usage. Since there is no oversight with this funding, no audit will occur and no one will do jail-time.

I think in this case....Congress needs to revisit the funding bucket, cut it in half, and have an audit performed each year on all purchases.

The Clintons have siphoned off money from every source they could. No one asks. No one cares. The computers were not only bought by the US Citizens but they are interlinked to Hillary’s Server. We are paying them to steal our money. 42% will still vote for these scumbags.

MSNBC at aprox 0858 reported this was false.
I channel surfed onto MSNBC just as Mika was introducing the former mayor of LA (a dem and Clinton supporter), to ask him if this could possibly be true.
I didn't bother to listen to his answer. No bias there.

I think Jason Chavitz brought up a bill to cut this funding but of course Obama vetoed it. It was passed on the premise that they make tons of money when they leave office and don’t need to continue to suck the taxpayers money. Needs to be revisited when the moochers leave. Also, a big travel allowance needs to be put in place for presidents and their families.

At the very least, whenever there’s any story about the Clintons which involves corruption, its probably safe to conclude that there has to be some factual basis to it. These people are totally corrupt.

Wait until Mr Bill and Killery turn the white house Muslim prayer room into assisted living quarters. I suppose there will be billions of dollars stacked in the corners.

First clue was when they took the silverware and furniture upon departing the white house. If it is not nailed down, these two crooks will take it.

I wonder just whom is paying for her majesties legal bills which have to be extensive at this point. Her chief legal adviser is Kendall I believe and he is employed as counsel for the crime family foundation. These two are experts at spending other peoples money for their own benefit. To top it off they figured a way to funnel cash to the bozo daughter by way of the foundation.

When you had Bill’s “Bimbo Eruption” and the defenders (James Carville?) talk about dragging a $100 bill through the trailer park, I did not realize what an insult this was to trailer parks! Bill Clinton would have been an excellent snake oil salesman, convivial, good-looking and totally amoral. Of course he married his opposite except for the morality. They are grifters, self-righteous grifters at that BUT with the talent and skill to do the really big con! Now, having done it once, they look to do it twice!

Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice and the shame is on ME!!

Mr. Trump spoke of redefining immigration laws yesterday evening. Not only do we find Immigration laws need to be studied and changed, there are to be found many laws which need the same procedure. Our government has continued to build on a rotten foundation, on which nothing is stable or everlasting.

To say that politicians are the lowest form of human life does not even begin to describe the Clintons.

The Clinton Foundation states on its website that “All Foundation employees are paid for work through the Foundation payroll. As a former President, President Clinton has separately allocated funding for a private office and for associated costs (rent, utilities, and salaries and benefits for staff). No Foundation staff are paid for Foundation work with taxpayer dollars.”

But this report suggests that is not true.

Politico finds that the Clinton Foundation’s chief operating officer, Laura Graham, was on the government payroll, as well.

Clinton body man, Doug Band, received taxpayer funds until 2013, the report finds. Teneoe, launched in 2011, Band’s powoerhouse financial firm, is said to be the route heavy hitters use to pay up to gain access to the Clintons.

On Sept. 16, 2011, the government purchased a $7,707.98 Dell server. On Aug. 2, 2011, the government purchased an Apple Mac mini with Lion Server for $1,284.95. Both were shipped to the Clinton Foundation, according to invoices.
