Some protests are more worthy than others, apparently
We must respect Colin Kaepernicks protest against the national anthem, we are told, because the right to protest is sacred and never to be questioned, and the last thing we should ever do is turn some inanimate piece of cloth into an idol thats more important than our right to express our true feelings.
Remember: American flag = mere piece of cloth. Not sacred. Not entitled to respect. In fact, the refusal to stand for it is entitled to the ultimate in respect. Get it straight.
So then, if the American flag is a mere piece of cloth and nothing is more sacred than the right to disrespect a piece of cloth as a way of making your protest of whatever known to all the world, surely we would apply the same logic to, say, a Colin Kaepernick jersey, no?
'History!' Kaepernick wrote on Instagram Oct. 15 , when he marked 50 years since the Black Panther Party was founded.
Kaepernick has posted 170 photos or videos on his Instagram account in the four years since he created it. Most of his first 128 posts were pics of him in football gear, publicity photos or shots taken with friends.
But 31 of his last 42 posts have strong social justice connotations, often featuring quotes from radical Nation of Islam leader Malcolm X, Black Panthers founder Huey Newton and cop killer Assata Shakur.
During a Sunday news conference about the flag flap, Kaepernick dressed in a black hat with a large, white X and a T-shirt that featured photos of Cuban despot Fidel Castro and Malcolm X.
For anyone who didn't know, the original Black Panthers were a communist-revolutionary domestic terrorist group like Bill Ayers' Weather Underground and the Black Liberation Army. All were Maoist to be precise.

[1960s/original] Black Panther Party [BPP] Archives
From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROES
"On May 1st, May Day , the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo [the police].
Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.
The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."
To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

So who is crying racism? Some mom’s basement dwelling SJW, or a delicate college snowflake? Its getting monotonous, really. Who cares anymore?
yo kaperdick, it is possible that there are things bigger then ourselves...
hey for the enterprising entrepreneur out there, know what would make some bucks, Colin Kaepernick (face) or jersey SF jersey number on urinal cakes.
Another Colon speaks
Just as racist as refusing to stand for the flag of your nation.
Could you elaborate what that means?
Charge a buck for each stomp on the rag...he will make millions.
When thoroughly tattered, put it in an outhousenwhere we can take bodacious Obamas on it.
Foothall and b-ball.
When you can’t speak, spell, or serve burgers.
I was wondering the same thing... (Tag line is interesting.)
“Racist” is a Communist term invented by Leon Trotsky.
it seemed like I was being insulted but unless you’re a Colin supporter, I couldn’t figure out what I wrote that would’ve prompted being insulted.
Taped his jersey to the floor????
= = =
It all matters what color tape was used!!!
Black is racissss.
White violates safe space.
Rainbow would be good.
Its getting monotonous, really. Who cares anymore?
= = =
I think that is the strategy.
Get the sane, real people tired of this crap; then escalate to the next level.
I assume he’s referencing both Colons, Powell and Kapernick

Guy looks more Armenian to me.
