"America is not going to collapse."

There is a good reason why God did not include America in prophecy for the end times ... you won't want to be here after the departure happens.

Yup.

Housing prices would drop so badly millions are still underwater? "That'll never happen."The recession would last 10 years? "That'll never happen." Homos would be able to get married? "That'll never happen." Women serving in combat arms MOSes? "That'll never happen." The nation will collapse? The jury's still out.

The three most dangerous words in the English nation are "can't happen here".

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho! God Bless Texas!

OK. Not intent.

Just saying I am aware of some of the risks. It is clear that no man knows the future. If someone tells you he does, he is lying.

“America is not going to collapse.”

That’s what the people were telling each other during the first world government, the Tower/Pyramid of Babel.

America was set up to bring about the second attempt at world government. Look at the reverse seal on the one dollar bill with the pyramid and the all-seeing eye of Horus.

America will collapse and every country that lines up with it as a member of the world government will fall, too. And you will see it very soon.

It is clear that no man knows the future.

True. But if it goes as anticipated, y'all be sittin' purdy.

Use pool filter sand for best results and better re-use after back washing.

For emergency rain water collection also take a look at the Intex smaller inflatable pools such as the Intex Clearview Aquarium Pool. Holds 120 + gals, costs less than $30 and comes in a box only 12”x14”x3-3/4”, easily stowed most anywhere.

Had warning last summer that major water main work would have us without service for several days. Filled that pool for washing and sanitary needs with a visqueen cover stretched over 1/4” loose plywood over to minimize falling leaves etc. and along with a cup of bleach kept it free of algae and bugs. Damned handy and life went on as usual except for bucket carry.

Most gasoline generators can be easily modified to run on either propan or natural gas. I did it to ours in about 2 hours.

I wrote a thread about it a couple of years ago:

We are not all one worlders.

It is possible that the US as we know it might be destroyed. It could happen because of internal division. It could happen because of Global Financial Collapse.

Yes, I’m aware of the background from the Tower of Babel. I despise globalist bastards. That subject is what the current POTUS election is about. Globalist vs Nationalist.

If we had a Global Financial Collapse, there would be a natural response by some of the states to joint together and collectively survive.

If it was brought about by a rogue nuke? Might be same response. Or the survivors might be more fragmented.

Other possibility would be a pandemic. That one could be worse.

I have great confidence in Americans who still think for themselves and are very practical in dealing with disorder. That is not as visible in cities, but still survives in rural America. (I traveled for a living for 30+ years and saw rural America up close and personal in the West & Midwest)

Do it yourself and don’t speak of it. There’s lots you can do without anyone knowing it’s specifically for preps.

Do a spring cleaning of the whole house and garage. Organize anything that can be used as a prep. Think outside the box. The kids’ old school backpacks can be used for quick 72 hour bags or for members of the family who can’t carry giant he-man bug out bags. Keep the kids’ little archery set, hockey sticks, blow darts, etc. Keep those never used snowsuits. Keep any arts and crafts supplies such as wood burning, flint napping, soldering equipment, etc. Organize and clean old camping equipment. Get tools in good maintenance shape.

Put flashlights in every room. Stock up on rechargeable batteries and keep them charged. Candles should be on clearance after the holidays. Don’t forget matches. Wouldn’t solar lights be pretty and a safety feature for the deck?

Invest in some blackout curtains to bring down the heating and air conditioning bill.

Buy extra canned goods on your grocery runs (have two manual can openers). Canned goods last much longer than the date stamped. Also, non-perishables like potato flakes, pasta, rice, dried beans, flour, gravy and cake mixes, etc. Most will keep just fine on their own on a shelf or in the freezer without special long term prep treatment. During that spring cleaning, clear out a couple of kitchen cabinets for extra pantry space.

Assess how you’re going to cook. If it’s a gas grill, buy a couple extra bottles. If it’s a bbq, buy a couple extra bags of charcoal and lighter fluid. Print out instructions for a cardboard and foil solar oven and have the supplies on hand (big toilet paper box, foil, tape - http://solarcooking.wikia.com/wiki/CooKit).

Think about your water supply. If there’s nothing but city water then stock a few gallon jugs of water in the back of the closet. Buying a water bob for the bathtub is an obvious prep purchase but if you have the advance notice to fill a water bob you have enough time to clean the tub and fill it.

Purchase extra cleaning supplies. Clorox, dish and laundry detergent, Swiffer floor cleaner, cleaning wipes (those are expensive and dry out).

Purchase bug spray.

Keep the medicine cabinet stocked. Try getting an extra refill on a regular prescription.

Plan a date night at the target range.

Start new “hobbies” (life skills) like gardening, home canning and sewing. Beekeeping might be too obvious.

A self pollenating fruit tree would look nice in that too sunny backyard. Some berry bushes or grape vines on the fence would block the view of the neighbors. Instead of inedible flowers in the front flower bed, plant edible flowers, herbs or colorful cabbages and lettuces, etc.

I did not say we are all one worlders. I am saying that America was set up to bring about the second attempt at world government.

The first attempt at world government was a rebellion against God lead by a black man, descended from Cush, named Nimrod. Cush was the family that moved to the area of Africa which we know today as Ethiopia.

We have the up-and-coming world government led by a black guy, named Obama, whose Secret Service code name is Renegade. His relatives are from Kenya which is right next door to Ethiopia.

Good job.

We have the river and a well. No hand pump for the well but can get a small container down it.

Fish from the river. River water for the garden.

At one time we were far enough from the zombies but the city has grown this direction so we’re now on the map. Still, we’re further out than the first couple waves will get.

"I didn’t know there were propane generators. I’m going to look into that."

I bought and installed a conversion kit. It will do gasoline or propane at the 'flip-of-a-switch'. Cost=$247.00. See here.

I’m more comfortable storing propane than gas, especially in earthquake country.

Yup.

I know the feeling except I buy my 'stuff' at yard sales. They'll practically give the stuff to you.

Yes. I know about the Cush. (Moses was said to have married a Cush woman, a queen of Ethopia)

Obama’s purported ancestors were not from Kenya.

(http://www.wnd.com/2008/02/57363/) It shows Sheikh Mahmed Hassan dressing Obama as a Somali elder during Obama’s visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya near the borders with Somalia and Ethopia.
