Eventually, I will have a car from the early ‘50’s to add to the collection.

Will it be a daily driver? Parts availability might be an issue for all the most popular models, especially if you want to stay more or less original. I love old Mopars, and parts availability for my '65 Chrysler 300 was a major issue.

Depends on what I find and how difficult it is to keep running. I have found some nice buys on straight 8 Pontiacs but I no longer want to do the kind of work that’s necessary for a full restoration.
