From the Reagan Democrats to Perot in the 1990s to the Tea Party, the average voters have had a political agenda of “Leave me alone-Look out of the USA 1st, fix the broken things.”
The problem is average Americans have never been able to be as organized and effective as the various political pressure groups nor been rallied to an effective political voice.
Trump merely the 1st candidate who was able to give that moment an organized winning voice. Trump can lose the leadership of this movement as easy as he got it.
Contrast that to Hitler. Hitler WAS the movement. His cult of personality was inexorably wrapped into the Nazi movement. Nazism could not exist as an effective political force without Hitler.
The Producers was hilarious. It may be dated now, but not in 1967. Everything else he says; who cares.
Meanwhile the Bolsheviks, and their descendants in China, Cuba, Cambodia (Pol Pot), North Korea, get a pass.
Hollywood constantly keeps the atrocities of the Nazis, NATIONAL socialists, usually represented by the SS, before our faces, why no movies about the atrocities of the INTERNATIONAL socialists?
In terms of numbers, their atrocities far worse than that of the Nazis. Which “The Black Book of Communism,” numbers somewhere between 100 million to 200 million.

Liberals have for a long time used name calling to shut down debate on subjects they don't want discussed.
Whether it is illegal immigration, Muslim invasion of infidel countries, race relations or other subjects, liberals shut down debate by slapping a name on their opposition to close debate.
That has worked well on republicans who cower and apologize and try to defend themselves from the name calling.
Early on in the presidential election I mentioned to my wife that the strong suit of liberals has been their shamelessness; but I think they have met their match with Donald Trump because he won't respond like a typical Republican, because he is as shameless as they are, and will hit back.
Dont take the above as a knock against Trump, I voted for him and donated money to his campaign.

The real SS wouldn't be bothered by such things. They'd just have a three step response.
1. Run over the protesters with tanks.
2. Shoot whoever might be left.
3. Round up their families and other supporters for extermination.
Repeat until there aren't any more protests.
Oh, and the "Gun Control" that the Anti-Trump Protesters very likely support too? By necessity, that'll happen a little before Step 1. Will be the warning for us to start paying attention.
