Haven't been able to find this information anywhere, so I'll ask the greatest group of detectives I know: the members of FreeRepublic.
Does anyone know the identity of the lovely young lady who held the Bible for Mattis during his swearing-in ceremony?

My guess it is his daughter. They resemble one another.
He’s never been married and has no children.

The young lady is just holding a bible for goodness sakes and to be fair, Mad Dog is not Matt Dillon or Tom Cruise - just a great warrior. We are blessed to have folks like that. Let's not question the competence or patriotism of those serving the United States under Trump and Pence unless we have cause to question such things.

I was wondering who she was too. She looks a lot like one of my daughters. And yes, I saw Kelly’s sign of the cross.
If he’s never been married, nor has children of his own, then maybe its his niece, cousin’s daughter or friend’s daughter. She is lovely.
