Coretta Scott King is one of those figures in American life who is virtually immune from all criticism. To even hint that she might have done anything dishonest or untoward will immediately get you attacked as an enemy of minorities and of civil rights - so sainted and sacrosanct a figure is Mrs. King. Without a doubt, that is one of the reasons Elizabeth Warren tried to hide behind Mrs. Kings 1986 letter denouncing Jeff Sessions during the now-infamous Senate floor speech that saw her silenced by Mitch McConnell for violation of Senate Rule XIX.
FAuxcahontas is a vile human being.
Several other Dems read the letter today and last night and they didn’t get shut down. Faux has another feather in her headdress to have against he gop.
Fauxahotep's fans seems to be leaving out a few pertenant details.
"The defendants initially requested the judge acquit them and then later offered to plead guilty to the election crimesfacts Adams notes were omitted in Patricks written statement and severely undercut the claim that Sessions should not be trusted, given his record of bringing the unnecessary case"
From what I understand, it wasn’t the King letter that was as scathing to get her silenced. It was the Ted Kennedy one she was reading when she was warned by the presiding senate president. McConnell happened to come out and invoke Rule 19 20 mins later, while she was reading the King letter.
The others just read the letter. We watched Fauxahontas, and she added here own comments to the letter. That was what got her into trouble.
Democrat playbook : race baiting
Any notice the King and Democrats are not that close anymore
Weren’t the claims against the good senator based on the delusions of a mentally ill lawyer who flat out lied on him?
'ol Coretta was a worthless piece of sleaze too. Never did an honest day's work in her life, but coasted on being the "widow."
Maybe for most politicians, but not for people in general. An opinion from CSK in an old letter did not then and does not now establish even one single fact. Was what she said in that letter a proven fact?
It's total BS for Warren to drag out something from years ago and pretend that it established any facts at all concerning Jeff Sessions.
That Pocahontas is one nasty, ill tempered squaw.
She was quoting Ted Kennedy - The Lyin’ of The Senate.
Elizabeth Warren is such an embarrassment.
So now, Congress just needs to play this..

Mrs Coretta has a certain thing in common with Mrs Clinton — unwillingness to sacrifice any of her heroine status because her husband is a dog with other women.
