Trump's Mandate: Make America Prosperous Again

Americans elected Donald Trump President of the United States because they believe he has the skills and determination to revive a stagnant economy and resuscitate the once-vaunted American jobs-creation machine.

The president is issuing executive orders and formulating new legislation to fulfill his promise to slash regulations, increase America’s energy output and fund infrastructure projects. He has convinced Carrier, GM, and other companies to keep jobs in America and induced foreign enterprises Samsung and Alibaba to consider bringing jobs to the U.S.

Not surprisingly, since Trump’s election optimism about the economy has soared, companies seem more willing to hire and the stock market has gained 2000 points.

America’s animal spirits seem poised to spark U.S. innovation and growth. Almost half the Americans surveyed this past week think America is moving in the right direction, almost double the number of a few months ago.

The president enjoys healthy job approval numbers as a result. On the Rasmussen poll his approval ratings consistently range from 51 to 59 percent, and in Fox’s new poll 48 percent of respondents approve of Trump’s performance, 46 percent disapprove, with Republicans and independents overwhelmingly approving of Trump.

The problem for Mr. Trump is that because of the last eight-plus years of mounting national debt, overregulation and high taxes, the economy he inherited on January 20th is, to quote Trump at his epic press conference this week, “…a mess -- a real mess."

How much of a “mess?” In 2016 the gross domestic product of the U.S. grew by a near-recessionary 1.6%. A just-released Gallup report entitled “No Recovery” reveals that the GDP per capita growth rate, a reliable measure of a country’s standard of living, has been shrinking year by year....

Results are secondary. The important thing is that he puts America first. Obama didn’t. What country did he think he was president of?

I strongly believe this (one) issue above all else, is why President Trump was elected.

This was what the election was about. For over one entire generation, EVERYONE has been selling out what used to be American jobs, to China and to the world. Everyone.

Everyone in the Democrat party, was sold out. Everyone in the GOP was sold out. All of them. All of the Republican candidates, were sold out. Every one of them, with one exception.

The Dems were likewise, all sold out.

Donald Trump, I believe this is why you are our president right now. This was the issue.

American jobs. Both parties have been selling out America for more than the last entire generation.

Everyone. Except you. You are president. The (world) basically, is waiting to see you preform.

The GOP has struck out by globalization.

The Democrats, have struck out by globalization. Everyone is all about globalization.

Except of course, China. Which has slowly been taking over.

Now with Trump. Finally. America has a true patriot, leading out country, and FINALLY saying we need jobs right here in the US.

Nobody has been saying that. Forever.

Just Trump. This is what you will be judged on, historically Trump.

This issue. Above all others.

America needs a champion. It seems we have one now.

Will we come back? I sure think so. But Trump, this is the issue, right here.

Make us proud, once again.

:D

Yes.

If, under his leadership, he can entice fellow Americans to live frugally, save, and invest rather than borrow from their future by mortgaging their past to spend in the present, he will have performed the only miracle that can save our economy.

How, pray tell, would he go about doing that?

As for legislation that is needed, I think Trump is holding his hand until the Cabinet is fully approved, or at least the four remaining posts already on the Senate schedule for next week, when they are back in session. The only outliers will be whomever is picked for Labor and the approval of Coates.

I say that because everything date wise has referenced the first or second week of March for the roll-outs. No need to get into some RINO’s short hairs until that process is complete. With that complete, then the real push starts while the sub level appointments start to happen trough floor votes and quick committee waves as that provides no drama to warrant delays.

The real public fight will wage with the media. They may own all the right s to barrels of ink, but that will be as useless as barrels of oil in a universe powered by dilithium crystals. They don’t control the bandwidth, we do. He is already beating them about the head and shoulders with their Fake News and will get the deal to carve out CNN in the Time-Warner/ATT merger proposal. As a side note, today might be a pivotal mark as to what is released in the next days by O’Keefe.

Once CNN is toasted, the corporate hosts of the other networks will stay true to their monkey see, monkey do mindsets and start their red ink purges as well. It is most certainly not helping their corporate brands at all.

So, I say by Labor Day, the media will be emasculated as far as their credibility goes, we will have something very close to Rand Paul’s health insurance bill as law, Trump will badger the Congress to agree with the 15% corporate tax and the 10% repatriation. He may have to bargain a little with other points of a new tax reform but it will be done and then “Katie Bar The Doors” as for the economy growth. Especially with the “All of the Above” new energy policies and emasculation of the EPA.

One thing I do see as needed dressing down is McCain. The Comey visit to the Hll for a private two hour meeting showed lots of demurred faces coming out of it and nobody was leaking anything from it. Conspicuously missing was McCain who was off in Germany denigrating the President on foreign soil to a meeting of our allies. Then he goes all quiet until we find out this morning he is in Syria meeting with the Kurds. After what he did in Germany, does anyone have any confidence he was doing this as an agent of the current administration? About as likely as screened hatches on a submarine. First of all, why would the Kurds trust him since it was he who put together the deal for the very people they were fighting against? Is this not the job of Mattis and Pompeo? I see all of this recent meddling of his as getting his licks in before his excrement hits the fan right back in his face.

What is this about CNN? Can you link any articles with more information?

Right there in the Front Page News side bar is one link. Saw others on Drudge. Apparently, there is a mole inside the production ranks at CNN who gave hundreds of hours of internal non broadcast video.
