New York City Police Department documents obtained by The Verge show that police camera teams were deployed to hundreds of Black Lives Matter and Occupy Wall Street protests from 20112013 and 2016. Originally acquired through a Freedom of Information Law request by New York attorney David Thompson of Stecklow, Cohen & Thompson, the records are job reports from the NYPDs Technical Assistance Response Unit (TARU) that document over 400 instances in which the units video team attended, and sometimes filmed, demonstrations. More important than the records the NYPD turned over, however, are those that it claims it cannot find: namely, any documents demonstrating that legal reviews and authorizations of these surveillance operations took place.

By the looks at the freaks, losers,Communists and anarchists it looks like the NYPD had good reason to spy on them.Of course the FBI didn't participate because they were their boss's people!
Maybe it would have, a few years ago, before these same movements started promoting killing Cops....but now? NOPE.
And still failed to arrest, prosecute or imprison a single one of 'em.
All that effort into BLM and they decided not to put resources into Islamic terror or immigration concerns. Perhaps they would have been better suited trying to prevent the 2014 Queens hatchet attack and the 2016 New York and New Jersey bombings.
I bet the facial recognition software has been working non-stop ever since...
