What the government recommends has resulted in half the population being obese. Combine the government diet with widespread ingestion of fluoride via industrial waste disposal into our potable water supply (which lowers thyroid function) and you end up with a lot of very unhealthy overweight people.

A high fat diet is very good if it is made up of the right fats. Steak from conventionally raised beef, besides being mostly protein (excess of which also turns to body fat), has the wrong fat profile.

Agreed. They are ruminant animals and need to range. Feed lot fattening alters the fat composition. This altered fat composition is not healthy in the long term.

Grass fed cows are also necessary to produce the proper milk for butter.

The human body can thrive on a ketogenic diet with a smaller percentage of protein. Proteins easily convert under gluconeogenesis and fats under glycogenolysis to maintain optimum blood glucose levels. There is no such thing an essential carbohydrate.

Medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) provide other and more rapid feeding of the brain and other metabolic functions. C8 (caprylic acid) and C10 (capric acid) involve just three steps (stomach via portal vein to liver and then bloodstream) versus other fats and up to 27 steps in the pyruvate cycle. MCTs rapidly provide ketones to the brain (preferred food). There is a great deal of research on ketone administration post stroke to aid in recovery. The initial results are very promising.

No it doesn’t. Any fat that isn’t transfat is good on the HFLC
