David French is a naive fool.

The left declared this civil war on the country a long time ago, David French is just painfully incapable of knowing it.

The old saying, "They were at war with us, but we were not at war with them." comes to mind.

Then can its statehood be revoked and reduced to a territory?

That wouldn't end the treasonous insurgency there. We either let California go, and face the consequences, or we take it back by force. I don't see any other options.

Most of California’s land is in conservative hands. Why would you want to condemn free people to socialist rule?

If California secedes there will be ample time for conservatives to leave. Also there will be plenty of time for wild eyed leftist from all over the USA to emigrate to CA. It will all work out.

Why should the rest of the other states suffer because Kalifornia has gone leftist-insane?

Why continue the misery when both sides want out?

You should ask a unionist bully like windflier that question.

I know kali well especially the rural parts in the north

The state is held captive by coastal elites and the capital

Land mass wise it’s our state still

In an actual upheaval you can’t hold territory via city dependents

It would be like Rome holding Gaul just with Rome or Capua or Ostia

I served with a couple of officers that were commissioned from UNG, all good people, good officers.

I grew up in CA, graduated from HS in '72. My last two months of HS were miserable. I was ostracized on campus for merely accepting a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship. I even had teachers say to my face how "disappointed" they were with my decision.

The only teacher who publicly supported me was my calculus teacher, a former Jesuit priest from Marquette. He was thrilled I chose to matriculate at Gonzaga.

I wasn't cowed, I was defiant: I had my choice of over 300 colleges in the US, and my parents would not have to shell out a dime for my college education. I pointedly compared my deal to that of the top 10 of my class, who received pittances compared to the value of my scholarship.

During college, my stepfather retired and they moved up to Oregon. I basically shrugged the dust off my shoes, and never returned. I might go back for one reunion, but what's the point?

The Army took me to Fort Bliss after college. Except for four years in Germany, I've been a naturalized Texan since 1976.

"It was fine in 1974 when we left."

Ahhh --- so it was YOUR fault then? Without you there, look what happened ...

Federalism is the answer. Now if you can just separate the checkbooks so that Red is paying for lazy deadbeat blues, attaining citizenship is on a level playing field, and freedom of LEGITIMATE religious freedom is guaranteed.

That is why we are heading for civil war.

Divorce doesn’t work. That’s the lession of the civil war. We either dominate them and force them to our ways or they’re going to try an exterminate us. I hear liberals talking about how they should have finished the job with the civil war instead of letting the people different from themselves endure.

Deport the Marxists to Mexico once we’ve liberated the state.

Why not purge the leftists? Send them to live with their Mexican and African buddies they’re always so worried about helping. There’s no way that they won’t start a war on us if we leave them alone.

Sorry, but it won’t work that way. The leftists might secede but they’ll face a bloody civil war if they try to imposes their insanity on the free Americans who live in Northern and Eastern California.

I don't care at that point what happens inside CA after they leave. It's their problem not mine.

We either hang together or we hang separately.

I left in 1979, as it was evident to me that the state was changing for the worse.
