Trump ends Obama’s “slush fund” policy of illegally diverting settlement money from actual victims to Obama’s favorite left wing groups that had no legal claim to the money

While working as a “community organizer,” Barack Obama filed lawsuits which forced banks to give mortgages to people with bad credit and low incomes. As a result, many of these people ended up defaulting on their mortgages. As their attorney, Obama collected $23,000 in legal fees for himself.

Then in April 2013, during Obama’s second term as President, the Washington Post reported that President Obama was still pressuring banks “to make home loans to people with weaker credit.”

However, in August 2014, it was reported that the Obama administration had sued Bank of America for giving mortgages to people who could not afford to pay them back, and the bank had agreed to pay $16.6 billion in order to avoid further prosecution from the federal government.

In August 2014, it was reported that Obama had given some of the settlement money from Bank of America to left wing organizations including the National Council of La Raza, Operation Hope, and National Community Reinvestment Coalition, instead of giving the money to the actual victims to whom it was legally entitled. These groups that were illegally given the money by Obama used to be known, collectively, as ACORN. In the past, these organizations had pressured banks to give mortgages to people who could not afford to pay them back. Obama had worked with ACORN in the past. Obama had represented them in a lawsuit where they tried to get Illinois to adopt a “motor-voter” law. On top of that, Obama had taught leadership training sessions for ACORN. Also, Obama had worked as an organizer for Project Vote, an ACORN offshoot. Furthermore, Obama had been on the board of directors of the Woods Fund when it gave ACORN $75,000 in 2001, and $70,000 in 2002. Finally, during the 2008 primary campaign, Obama’s campaign had given Citizens Services Inc., an ACORN affiliate, more than $800,000 for “get out the vote” efforts.

Fortunately, President Trump has just put an end to this illegal “slush fund” payout scheme. From now on, any settlement money will go to the actual victims, instead of the left wing groups that Obama favored, but which had no legal claim to the money.

If there are any remaining UNDISTRIBUTED funds from any of these earlier Obama shake-down agreements, I hope the Trump administration will ask the shaken down private entities to cease further funding of the Obama cronies. Instead, the extorted entities could either simply keep those extorted funds or distribute them (or a lesser amount to encourage them) to the federal general fund. This would be done by a revised agreement, of course.

I heard Rush talking about this the other day. Thanks to FOIA, Judicial Watch, Heritage Foundation and Peter Schweitzer for uncovering this. Obama shook down companies and levied fines on them, then diverted the money to left wing groups including Planned Parenthood.

How can this not be considered a crime? Oh, I forget, it probably is. Politicians are above all that.

I’d like to know how much “kickback” money Obama got from the midnight transfer of the pallet of millions sent to Iran. He isn’t buying million dollar houses and traveling the world wit S&H Green Stamps.

Who was more corrupt—the Clintons or Obama?

It’s a toss to me, but there’s a difference.

The Clintons—especially Hillary—were madly corrupt in a personal way. They wanted to acquire wealth along with exercising political power.

Obama was more of a “robbin’ hood.” He may have diverted far larger sums of money than the Clintons, but he sprayed it around to his favorite lefty causes—gay this, Arab that. WHy, he managed to send off $400 million as he walked out the door to the Palis.

Meanwhile, poor Bill and Hillary had to scrimp and save to build up a Foundation war chest of about that much, taking bribes one by one, giving speeches. Poor things.

In terms of their bank accounts, I’d say the Clintons are way ahead of Barack at this point. But in terms of the amount of money directly diverted, I’d give the edge to Obama. True, Hillary’s actions at State which were influenced by bribes (say, Uranium One, or the Haitian relief effort) may have cost us a lot, but Obama was far more direct.

The slush fund payments from coerced settlements that are the subject of this article is an example.

Obama reinvested more of this loot back into the criminal organizations that will support him and his cronies.

A chicken in every pot.

“From now on, any settlement money will go to the actual victims, instead of the left wing groups that Obama favored, but which had no legal claim to the money.”

How about settlement money be applied to pay down the national debt? In these shakedowns by Democrat administrations there may be no real “victims”. Eliminate discretion. Pass an actual law that says any settlement money collected by the government be received by the Treasury and applied to the national debt. If there are real “victims”, they are free to file a civil suit of their own and claim damages.

There was a recent case of wrongful foreclosure that had $40MM of a $42MM verdict redirected to Obama goons.
