If the NRA had not chosen to stand on their hind legs, lead, and fight the “Universal Background Checks”, we would have lost.
Second Amendment activest fought long and hard, and won. It was much too, too close for comfort.
He seems to be running things behind the scenes.

Some of the things they were proposing under Obama polled very well. Remember one was that those on the terrorist watch list cant buy guns. Obama couldn't even get that.
Alternatively they remember what happened in 1994 after they banned those rifles, more people vote for the 2nd Amendment then those who make gun control their main issue.
Oddly enough the NAPA store off of Parr Blvd has signs up for 22lr. $69.99 for a brick of 550 rounds. I didn’t ask what brand it was.
That’s highway robbery. I have several of those with 14.99 stickers still on them.
