Lyme’s Disease, rabid raccoons, poison ivy, wolves(?), deer ticks and even trolls...I didn’t realize how many snowflakes we had here on FR.
Cayotes, foxes, copperheads, timber rattlers, spiders, mosquito's and their diseases ... whatever it takes to keep swamp dwellers in the swamp.
[Not to mention the deer ticks carrying Lyme’s Disease.]
Here in the Midwest I have SEVERAL friends either succumb to the disease or have serious, debilitating side effects from LYME’S DISEASE. Best to take precaution.

I have poison ivy right now from gardening. And we have lots of deer bringing their ticks, but I will not be kept from my beloved outdoors. (For the record, I hate gardening, but I love the results, so I will keep doing it. Had company recently that said my yard looks like something from a magazine. Hmmm... I hope they meant a gardening magazine.)
