Its time for Republicans serving in Washington to get over obsession with reelection, get out of denial that business as usual is acceptable, and recognize that we are engaged in spiritual and political warfare to save the country
Who would have ever thought that the United States could face a coup attempt against its duly elected President? But for all intents and purposes thats whats going down. Its a derivative of an old-fashioned, third world banana republic mob-style coup that is brewing against Donald Trump.
It matters not that there is a lack of substance to the charges of Russian collusion. That a charge of treason has been bandied about by Democrat Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine
They are whose are fighting.
It starts with the primaries. We are still learning our lessons too slow. Will 2018 make a difference? Late August will tell. Flake is up in the Az. primary.
There’s more: Money sent in from outside of Az. will be very telling.
Winning might not be everything. But losing isn’t anything.
In fact, Vince Lombardi put it this way - “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the ONLY thing”.
Nobody remembers who placed second.
The problem is what the traitors among them define as victory.
I find it odd that we threaten to no reelect those who do not forget their constituents biding, but now tell them to not worry about reelection which means ignoring their constituents.
Just who will step up besides Kelly Ward? It’s usually some assemblyman who has nothing to lose and can only count on an incumbent/competitor dying at the right time. Sound familiar? Ward should beat Flake on her own merits. She should not be given McLame’s seat if his health really goes south. It should be given/offered to the recent former Governor who fought the good fight. A protest vote for a minor leaguer won’t do it.
Lots of negatives to untie in that comment. I finally gave up.
Most of the people wearing R jerseys in the Senate have been on the other side for years.
Alexander, Corker, Flake, Gardner, Graham, Hatch, Heller, Hoeven, Murkowsky, McCain, Rubio, Burr, Tillis, Portman, McConnell, Thune, Cornyn, Cochran, Isackson, Blunt, Johnson, Toomey, Capito, Rounds, Fischer, Collins, Wicker, Sasse are all Cheap Labor Express Republicans.
How do you define victory in Afghanistan?
My intent was to point out we gripe when they don't do the biding of their constituents and it favors our position. But we are even more angry when they do the biding of their constituents, but it isn't in our interest.
Their path to re-election is doing what their constituents like. Otherwise they would be primaried or defeated by an opponent in the general election.
