Mother of Charlottesville suspect: 'I just knew he was going to a rally ... something with Trump'

The mother of the man who allegedly plowed into a group of people protesting a white nationalist rally Saturday in Virginia said she knew her son was attending a rally -- but she thought it was a rally for President Trump, not for white nationalists.

In an interview Saturday night in Toledo, Ohio, with The Associated Press, Samantha Bloom said of her son James Alex Fields Jr., "I just knew he was going to a rally. I mean, I try to stay out of his political views. You know, we don't, you know, I don't really get too involved, I moved him out to his own apartment, so we -- I'm watching his cat."

Bloom was informed by The AP reporter that the rally was indeed organized by white nationalists. "I thought it had something to do with Trump. Trump's not a white supremacist," she said.

"He had an African-American friend so ...," she said before her voice trailed off.

In an interview with The Toledo Blade, she said, "I told him to be careful. [And] if they’re going to rally to make sure he’s doing it peacefully.”

Bloom told The AP she didn't even know about the incident until she spoke with the AP reporter. She said she was indeed surprised with the deadly outcome. "Yeah, that he would run his car into a group of people for... I'm really not clear on..."(continued)

She is lying, for obvious reasons, to avoid reprisals. Pretending that she didn’t know her son was a Nazi.

...and here come the “cherry picked” quotes by the MSM to produce their #FakeNews, paint the narrative and manipulate the populace.

Yes. As for the hate, if we are going to discuss where it basically resides, look no further than the left wing media and it’s hate against President Trump and his supporters since he began to run for that office. What has happened is terrible but the puppet masters of hate were not in Charlottesville yesterday. They will come out today to magnify the words of people like this Mother to try and justify their own hate which will produce a horrific magnification of what happened yesterday. Hate needs to be stopped at the highest levels and we will then have a chance to come together as most of America desperately wants. Stopping the lies is a good place for a new beginning.

He’s listed in the US Army from 18 Aug 2015 to 11 Dec 2015...active duty. 115 days, or 3 months and 23 days.

Typically, boot-camp now runs now for about 98 to 112 days.

It doesn’t say that he went to the National Guard, which would make sense and explain end of active duty in December of 2015. All of this would have meant that he would have gone on to

Or a discharge for being connected to the wrong crowd...

If he belonged to this group :

Which I’ve never heard of and which looks really lame and amateurish and probably has a dozen members... I wouldn’t be surprised if he was discharged with good reason.

Up to now the only Vanguard group I’ve heard of was the “Vanguards of Conquest”... an al Qaeda front name.
Obviously not his group.
Wonder when his group was founded... say in my previous link that he headed a page on his site with “conscious ovis aries” what apparently means “conscious sheep ram” - and included a picture of the vehicle he used to ram the crowd.
The group was originally a white pride type group that later started absorbing neoNazi propaganda.

Apparently, another dysfunctional family. No dad in the picture. A kid 20 years old and living with mommy until she has to kick him out. He has a kitty, he doesn’t have time to care for. Yet, he is driving a relatively new car and could afford to travel to charlottesville.

It was only 3 months. Doesn’t it mean that he was kicked out?

I wonder whether this guy was set up, like the democrats did when they lured people into violent situations during the election. This could be anything from terrorism with him planning ahead to run down some Antifa/BLM thugs, to what he thought was self-defense with him trying to escape a violent mob.

I wonder if it was one of those cases where the parent is overwhelmed and persuades the dysfunctional kid to join the military, hoping his problem isn’t discovered until he’s through basic so he can qualify for VA health care.
